This stream was in ASX format. Any recordings you see in MPG or anything other than ASX are CONVERSIONS and therefore have actually lost some quality.

I'm not saying you did anything wrong, I just saw some format questions in this thread, and I just wanted to clear that up.

To have this as 1.2GB for any reason other than burning to DVD - it's a waste of space. The original stream in ASX is half that size.

I can split this shit up tonight and put individual .mpg's for direct download on my server, if you are alright with that.

i've got 6x10GB FTPs but try to upload a 1.2gb file on a FTP  : ok:
it must be cut in many small files. and it's way more complicated than Pando.

My file is 950MB, I thought I had fucked it up and made it too big.

Bandita's is only 300MB: so I guess that's off, too

FTP is not complicated. You start an FTP Program, log in, start uploading the file, and then you do nothing but wait.

I need the original .ASX from someone, there is no point in splitting up anything other than that.

My problem is my .ASX is missing 1:30 from Brownstone

I can upload 950MB in about 3-4 hours - I didn't realize that was a big deal.

I'm sure I'll get a clean .ASX from somewhere.

The donnington monitor mix was 700+ MB and I did that in one night and had links typed out and everything.

that's great for you ... but my FTP are restricted. it really hard to upload more than 200MB files...
that's why many pople on the newsgroups are cutting movie files in many small files ...  thats the only way to upload big files on ftps or newsgroups.

Hi, I downloaded the HQ stream asf and the total video size for the full set was only 319MB.  Mine doesn't seem to have a copy protection for some reason

I am going to upload it here on megaupload shortly. I currently have it running on a torrent but my upload speed there is next to 0.

Ok you must understand how pando works. . .

you can start download as soon as i start upload. But you 'll download as fast as i upload (slow).

when the upload is done you can download very fast.

for example i've uploaded 20% ... so if you're starting the download now... you 'll download fast and when you'll reach the 20%, it will go slow... as fast as my upload.

I think you need a specific version. ?The express version 3 should work for asf files. ?Look for that one.

Keep in mind though, any conversion is going to lose some quality of what the original looks like.

I've tried it in Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic, and PowerDVD.  All of them exhibit the same behavior.. I might try BSPlayer, as I've had luck w/ it in the past.. I've always thought it might be a video thing, but I have a Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb, so that can't be it..

It's just annoying to have to find a different player everytime I want to play a wmv or asx or asf, etc.. all other videos play fine.. I use the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, and it doesn't even fix it.. :(

the torrent version is an .asx file... mine is an Mpeg file.

you can burn mine in a CD/DVD to watch it everywhere.

27% of CD2 and that is still searching for the sender, stopped completely

try to pause and resume the download if it's too slow...
i've uploaded 57% on CD1 and 27% on CD2

and yes you can burn this disc with Nero. You can burn it with any CD/DVD Burner... it's just a video file. Not an authored DVD.

I burned it to a disc and put it into 3 different DVD players, 2 of them did not read a disc, the 3rd brought up a screen saying "MP3 play" and "Root"

Should i convert the files first or what?

Ok, i got it to work on a DVD recorder/player in the living room, but it has two lines across the bottom third of the screen, they are like blinking blue and green and pink lines. Why are these showing up? Any way to get rid of them?

Maybe your DVD players aren't compatible with VCDs...

Pando is very good... Just got it and downloaded these 2 files in 20 minutes both at the same time...

The clarity of the files are good but it moves really badly... Probably due to the MPEG conversion...
