Found the main site about a year and a half ago.  My homepage is set to MSN so I probably used that search engine or Google.  Don't remember anymore.  Oh well, I didn't start coming to the message board until this summer- right before Hong Kong.  Been coming back ever since for my daily fix!

i took the adress off danny's screen during a free period when i was bored and wanted to piss him off.

Well i was drunk oneday and........

Once upon a time...  ;D, no. I was surfing through the net and ended up at a search machine and typing in Guns N'Roses and this site popped up first so I entered the site for the first time and it's the fuckin' best site on the net concerning GN'R coz it's always updated! So, keep it going Jarmo!

Seriously, though, a friend of my found it somehow, and told me about it 'cause he knew I was a GN'R freak.  This was a long time ago... I thought it was '96 but then you posted that pic of the site at that time and I didn't remember it being black.  So my guess is as soon as you changed the colour of the site, maybe '97.  I only started using the message board recently but have always gone here for the news (or lack there of).  Anyway, best GN'R site, and I'd do anything for scientific research  (catch my drift [greedy]) [hihi]

I found this site when I went to yahoo and put in Guns N' Roses and it was like in the top 5 sites. It should be number 1!

I find this site by a link in gnrwarehouse (ooh, I miss this site so much... a lot of mp3!!) in 99/00. I used to help with some news about Rio in that site...  Anyways, here was (and always will) the best site to have real news. I used to visit lostrose.com but since it stop to being updated, I found gnrx.com and this message board.  [peace]

I found this in like 2000 or Iunno, its such a great site, Jarmo just is truly the King of GNR web sites no one comes close to his, while other are making their pages new every fuckin week (Sladdi) Jarmo keeps with relatively the orginal format, having it content over fancy wancy shitty witty stuff, his page is great, and is the best site by far on the net on GNR!

Some years ago I bought The GNR collection (self-made pirate collection includind songs, photos,lyrics, info ...) and found there some pictures marked Here Today...Gone To Hell .  Trying to find their origin I tried it as www.heretodaygonetohell.com I came across this lovin' site. Some time I was reading just articles and news,watching pics ,then turned to M-board. That's my story.

My bloody good mate eclectic hagg showed me which particular bus i needed to hop on to get to these here forums.

I justed typed Guns N' Roses on Google search, and found it  :)

for the website of the my friend. I saw a link. Now is my website favorite.

I just typed in "Guns N' Roses" on an MSN search years ago and this has since then been my favorite GnR site that I visit everyday for news and just to chat. I lurked on here for a bit the registered about a year ago. :)

I wanted a site they I could bookmark and check daily for any new news in the GnR world. That was around 1997. I think there has been service provider changes and a domain change over the years if I am not mistaken. Always got the best news and recently decided to start chatting, thanks for having a Killer Site with Up to the minute GnR news!

I was searching news for Chinese Democracy and this site was listed so glad I found this site!

I was searching last December to see if there was an actual Guns N' Roses site and this site was listed after looking at 25 other sites that just didn't compare to this one.

I was doing a little GNR research about 2 years ago and did a search on Google.  This was one of the first sites that popped up so I decided to check it out.  It satisfied all my GNR needs and it became a site I visit regularly.  It was only recently however, that I joined the message board.

relatively new internet user. Was lookin for guns info, went to a search engine, looked at this site and a couple others, liked this one best. New to the board tho, just learned what one was. Digging it so far tho.

It's a long story. It involves space ships, bouts of petty crime, random pieces of tropical fruit and an array of farm yard animals

I actually found out about it from another message board that I would visit.? ?It would get mentioned from time-to-time and I decided to check it out!? ?

The fans here seem nice and don't spend too much time criticizing new members...and this is very refreshing!? ?:)

Yeah, same here.  I did a Yahoo search and this is one of the first ones to come up.  I looked at a couple others, but this was by far the best.

Some GN'R fansite had a link here, seemed pretty good. actually visited here quite long, but never bothered to create an account...

found it in 1999 on a Yahoo search.

Wanted to get some off the presale, but the mailing list was "late" (think, they had the mailing set to go out at Pacific time, not Eastern) with the password, so I emailed jarmo (who's email I found on the front page...after doing a yahoo search on GnR)  asking if he knew the pass.

He directed me to the forums, here (which, FYI, got me the pass and AWESOME seats).

The rest is infamy...I mean history.

 I found this site because I was searching fo GNR lyrics.  The discription on gnronline.com on Yahoo Search didn't say anything about lyrics so I just came here to HTGTH.

After leaving a shithole of a site (ie. MYGNR) I google searched for other GNR forums.

2002, i had just gotten UYI 1 and 2. And wanted to find out more about GNR. I did a search on the november rain video and found the trivia section on this site about the video, what it was based on etc. Then I really started to like the idea of a new album...

Skynyrd Girl told me about the site, and said I had to check it out..she told me it was a load of fun..so I just had to join up.

I think it was in early '99.  I was at work and bored shitless, decided I'd look up some info on the already long-awaited "Chinese Democracy" album and this site seemed to have the best info and coolest design.  (Still Does) 
For some reason seems like there are a lot less assholes who join up here...hmmm.  Maybe Jarmo has some kinda magical screening process we don't know about! :o

Well, I found HTGTH many years ago, perhaps through Google.  I only decided to start posting last week.  ;D

Long time ago.... search.... don't remeber if it was yahoo..... btw....... more or less like ten years ago I used to be subscribed in a mailing list that a man called Jeff Boerio managed...... I remember that the mail was something like arocknid.com.... there was a gn'r "digest" version where you received one daily mail with all of the mails sent during the day.......... anyone rembembers that?.....

I was sick and stayed home the night of the VMA'S in 2002 and decided to watch having no idea axl was going to perform. Well I was super syched once they did and immediatly came on line and searched for Guns N Roses on yahoo and came up with this sight so i checked it out and thought it was the best online...having read this sight for almost 4 years i finally decided to post something last night...and well all I have to say is this is a great site!

I was at work back in 2001 or 2002 {Pre-VMA's), and heard something on the radio about Axl. Decided to Google initially looking for GnR's official page, realizing nothing was on there informative, I then searched some of the fan sites. This one I felt was the best one.. And only one for me.

News reported had truths - So I stayed on as an observer - Just registered weeks ago.

i found this site after i got fed up with mygnr!! i'd heard about HTGTH anyway so i thought i'd give it a try! IT ROCKS!  :beer:

One of my friends would always be on here, and I sort of gave up on the "official" GnR website as it's never updated.. but thats another story :P

So yeah, decided to register and give my two cents on shit : ok:

I'm not sure when I first visited, it was a long time ago.  Kinda gave up on GnR after 2002 (they cancelled the tour right before our show).  Then my friend and I heard I.R.S. on the radio twice in the same day, interest was rekindled, and I found the site again via google.

I was following the May 12th live thread here and elsewhere when I managed to get my ticket for the 17th, registered after that to thank folks for all the information that was provided for a lurker like myself.  If I had realized how organized everyone was in terms of going to the shows, I would have tried to meet up with them, I just had no idea.

This is a really nice site.  Thanks for running it.

i was  searching for news about gn'r and found ?HTGTH.. right from the start i liked it.. but i didn't understand that there was a forum until a guy said that he liked the HTGTH forum so i went to this site and clicked at the message board and there it was.. the best gn'r forum on the web IMO

never saw this thread for the few years ive been here.

i was searching up on guns, long before i knew much about them, infact i new very little about them ,other than i liked there music and i thought they had 2 singers. like on its so easy, one singing high, one singing low. i was truly a newbie to gnr.

anyhow i searched went on thee official site, found it to be a pile of...ahem.

looked at a link with HTGH on google, was on homepage, read a big load of there history page. went on forums, signed up, went from there really. found it to be very reliable and fun to be apart of.

I had a vision and imagined a place where everyone is kind and nice and really smart. Then, in my dream, the letters HTGTH appeared, and I awoke, in a sweat, but I found a piece of paper and the next morning I found the paper on which I had written the night before, soaked in sweat, and checked it out. Since then, as they say, you can never leave. Dreams are real.

when i was in fifth grade, i went on aol keyword and typed guns n' roses. so i scroll to see other sites and there was one site called "here today... gone to hell!" and i clicked on it and this site was just magic! :peace: :beer:

Started a new job a few weeks back and one of the blokes was telling me about the new gunners albumn, which hadn't even entered my thoughts for the last 8 or so years. He showed me the leaked tracks and i almost shat myself they were that good.
He then pointed me towards Hell and I've been strolling down the road ever since...  ;D ;D

i used to hang out alot at Blabbermouth.net until i got banned and it was pissing me off that i couldn't post what i thought about stuff. So 6 weeks after i got banned a news statment was on Blabbermouth and the source was HTGTH and i'm like hmmm lets see what this is all about and now i'm here and loving it cause my first post ever on a thread was about how i got banned from BM and Efish said "don't worry man no one gets banned here" :beer:

through another GNR forum, which i have recently left for good. the place is full of nothing but flamers...people who flip out on you if you make a "pointless thread" or if you have no point in your posts, you get verbally attacked. im liking this site so far though

When the 2002 tour was announced I remember reading the main site, looking to find out when the dates when on sale. I've been here since then.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, Gun N Roses was played on Australian radio this last Summer - it was hot, very, very hot and SCOM hadn't been played for quite a long time.

Then came the double whammy, Guns N' Roses were coming Down Under. WTF?!

Someone asked if that meant with Slash?, so I hit the net.

I typed in Guns N' Roses tour and up came the offical website, the next link was HTGTH. I remember having a little peak in, of all things, I walked into a discussion that Pharmo was having - needless to say it was quite a bizarre and very fun thing to stumble upon......

I closed the link and walked away.........

and this site popped up.

Well, when I was more than obsessed with Guns N' Roses, I went to Google to find alot of guns n' roses sites, and decided to post on this board. O.o

you know it's been so long i forget.

On a few GnR "fan" forums, this place was being attacked and made fun of, so I checked it out.

Then realized it wasn't this, but  those forums that deserve ridiculing with their anti-GnR stance. No longer a member at those places, only GnR related forum I visit is now this  :peace:

i first found this site about 6 years ago when doing a search for Guns N Roses and posted about 300 times under my first account then forgot what it was after my computer did not remember the password and as my email account no longer existed i had to make a new account and now here i am again just hit 400 posts as again i forgot to sign in for ages :) but im on this site all the time

One set of leaks, maybe the '06 set, I went googling for fan forums.  Found one that I stuck with for a bit but was horribly moderated, so I move over here.

Google...boring, but its that simple.  Spent a year+ as a guest before I found something that I HAD to respond to.

I found this site around December 2003 and did not realize at the time that there was a guns n' roses still in existence until then. And, I've been a pretty die-hard fan since...

The last two years I've rarely checked this site. And then on 11/23, I got an itch to check this site, and I found out chinese democracy had been in fact released. LOL.

Found this place while looking up info on the new album a few weeks ago and realized after awhile how active and cool the board seemed to be. 

i knew HTGTH since 4 years ago, but  i never thought to register in. i decided to register because axl/dexter's presence, but once started, i think this is an excellent place to find infos and discuss about Guns.

I found it a few years ago when googling GNR. I registered but I didn't start posting until after the album was released.

I honestly do not even know how I found it.  but here I am.

It was a loong time ago..not before 1997 anyhow.. I was searching information about GNR and found this place among other things.

Yahoo search when I first got my own computer in 2001,  when  Rock in Rio happened I started to look around more for GNR on the web.  Beat hitting up Barnes & Noble reading music mags looking for a mention of GNR!

Either someone posted the link on my website or it was a google search for the new album.
