There are few things in the series that make it really hard to watch..at all.
namely, the fucking horrible tasteless camp humor and the huge amount of it....And also, the PG-13 fashion they carried the fight scenes out.
I really tried to get into the series years ago but ehhhh. Just too annoying. Suppose it's one of the love it or hate it -series'

I dont know which one you've seen, but the one I seen was her. It wasn't a porn star. It was an amateur tape inside some guy's house. Its obviously Alyson Hannigan to anyone thats watched it. Anyone else here seen this tape?

Seems like all those tapes that surface are always so lame...........

Buffy is awesome!  I haven't watched it for a while but growing up I used to watch it all the time.  It was so well written and funny.  The characters and stories just worked really well.

Favourite character - Spike
Favourite season - 5
Favourite baddy - evil Angel

Least favourite character - good Angel
Least favourite season - 6
Least favourite baddy - the mayor

Buffy was hot but Willow was better looking.  I'm sorry but it's definately not her in that video.

I never really watched it, but I thought that Serenity was fantastic!

I'm yet to make the proper jump over to Firefly, but I'd be very suprised if it ever lead to a jump over to Buffy... As a kid, the show just annoyed me. It was like, I could catch one episode and it would be cool, but the next would be full of rubbish. That said, I only ever saw it about two times.

Buffy is my fav show of all time!!!

You liked Season 5? That one is among my least favourite seasons. I think I watched it way too much when it was on demand on Homechoice.
Season 3 was the funniest, but the mayor was just ridiculous.
Willow is my favourite character and then Anya. Gotta love Anya. ?:hihi:

I can't get enough of watching it. I got the box set last year.

Anyone remember the musical  they did at..umm somewhere towards the end of the series?
It was great. The idea of, for once "justifying" a musical by explaining WHY everyone suddenly feels the need to sing and dance...:) that was just  brilliant :yes:
...o and some of the songs were actually surprisingly good


Could you moderate a bit more please?There were no less than 4 mesages about an actress of the said series in a row.
People were going really chrazy and it got scary.
There should be some sort of official rapid response night shift moderator division to stop or rather, prevent cases such as this in time.

Yeah, the episode was called "Once More, With Feeling" and it was in Season 6. I even had Let Me Rest In Peace (Spike's song) and I'll Never Tell (Xander & Anya's) on my iPod.

It was a really cool thing they did with that musical.

Yeah, except it didn't seem to bother Xander too much that he was responsible for someone's death.  It was way more entertaining than I was expecting.

This is probably my favourite TV show, along with Seinfeld and The Simpsons.

Season 5 was my favourite too, I thought everyone episode was really strong and the ending was just amazing.  I haven't seen the first 3 seasons since I was a wee lad, but I've been meaning to pick up the DVD sets.

I loved that Show! Especially the whole Buffy/Spike romance! And as a spiritual healer I kind of like to think of myself as a sort of spiritual vampire slayer!!!

How do you guys think this show compares to Angel?  I thought the 5th season of Angel was as good as the 5th season of Buffy... everything just seems "on" and they really have complete episodes and stories.  Adding Spike to the cast increased the entertainment level that much more.  The argument about the astronauts and cavemen had me laughing for about 10 minutes.

Yeah. The Buffy + Spike romance was cool, but Angel + Buffy was just too boring.

Too boring??  I haven't seen the seasons with Angel in them for a long time... but Buffy killing Angel to save the world was one of the most memorable things I've seen on TV.  I've watched Spike sacrificing himself in the series finale a number of times, but that didn't get nearly as big a reaction from me as Angel & Buffy.

I also think it was boring too, I mean he loves her she loves him, then I have to save the world yada yada predictable!!  :-\

Well, that last Season 2 episode was the only good part. The rest was just boring.

It was nowhere near that with Spike.

Hmmm.. I really need to check out those earlier episodes again.  Angel couldn't have been worse than Riley.  Angel taking on Riley was one of the highlights of Season 4 for me.

Yeah, good point. It was even worse with Riley.

The best couples in my opinion were Xander and Cordelia, Xander and Anya, Willow and Tara and Willow and Oz.
Buffy (the character) was just a bit too dramatic.

As for Buffy, I... Know a girl that had every episode on video. That was a fair few years ago though, so I guess it wouldn't be every episode these days. You know, video.

Nope, which means its definiyely not as good as Fawlty Towers.

I've seen a few episodes and enjoyed what I saw, just never made a point of watching it every week.

Yeah Anya's hilarious.  When she turned up to the halloween party in a bunny outfit that cracked me up!

I did like season 5 a lot.  Glory seemed annoying at first but they made up for it by making her ultimately powerful!  Spike's attempt to redeem himself was really well written and also I believe that season had the Willow/Xander fling as well which was long overdue.  Season 3 is really great as well so i've gotta watch that again - luckily one of my flatmates has just moved in and brought every episode with her on DVD so we've got the rest of the year to watch them all. :hihi:

Willow was a lesbian by the middle of the 4th season, so I don't think that's when she had her thing with Xander.  The 5th season had the episode where Buffy finds her mom dead... I thought it was great that she died of natural causes instead of something Slayer-related.

The Willow and Xander thing was in Season 3, they were still in Sunnydale High.

Well I got the whole 9 seasons of X files in VHS and the 1st season of Buffy in taped too, does that count?  :o  ;D

Personally I always felt that buffy was a better show than Angel. Although IMHO the final 2 seasons of Buffy were below the standard set but the rest of the series. Like season 6 was cool for having the musical, and the dark willow ending, but the rest of the season - and the whole magic=drugs thing just got too depressing for me. (I guess i'm simple and like happy stories!) - and then season 7 was cool but basicly a big build up for the whole season.

Byt contrast i always felt like the only cool characters on angel came from buffy, and that it was too camp as a show for me overall. (tho i stll watched it to keep the buffy universe in continuity).

But to me the gold stuff is season 1-5 of buffy!
