It was GNR's security people that ran him down and caught him. This is when the confrontation insued, and that's how it happened. Everybody was ready to throw down, but MTV's security people broke everyone up, not to mention the police were already there because of the show. That wasn't nothing but a bunch of people running their mouths in that situation. Vince was fired in 1991. They may have been on the road in the same year, but he was also fired in the same year.
