Technically it happens to every band..........most send out a mass email to anyone who registers on the band's site and boom it's available.  The Bob Dylan trolls really piss me off......The first entire two rows of his concerts are up on ebay usually going for about 300% more than the ticket cost.  That's why I think all concerts should be general admission and the diehards who want to go there and wait all day in line should be given priority. 

Hopefully Mysteron, Jarmo and everyone who works hard to get these pre-sales for us don't give up because of shit like this.

do you really need $8 that bad? what an ass. it looks like he is from tampa because on his other auctions sold he is selling tampa bay bucs tickets.

I wonder if we told eBay about this they could give us the sellers details and we can remove him from any future presale list?

Actually, if you have an Ebay account you shoul dbe able to access the seller's name and address (at least at one time you could). The only catch is that the seller is notified that you've asked/received the info, and then your info is sent to them. Not really a big if you're just going to set up an account to specifically go after this info and report them. But don't get the info and then start harassing them.

Techincally, it might not be from the forums, but it is likely. I signed up at www.96krock.com to be an "Insider" and I got the presale password (same as the one that Jarmo distributed).. I got it almost simultaniously to when I recived the HTGTH email..

Either way, it is pretty fucked up.

If you go on any ticket sites, besides ticketmaster, the tickets for these shows are going for 150-250 bucks! Its pretty insane... but as long as there are dumb people out there willing to pay, there will be fuckers selling..

Who the fuck would be stupid enough to buy the pre-sale password? People can get as good or better seats if they wait till tickets go on sale to the general public anyway. 

Fucking hate scalpers or anyone who trys to burn fans. Fuck them. Someone beat that guy.

I knew something like this was happening when I went to the Nashville presale cause there is no way all the great lower arena seats could've sold out that quick.


Some Asshole did the same thing on the RHCP presale and I got 2 not so good seats even though I fuckin ordered the first hour of the presale.

Go to eBay and search for GNR pre-sale passwords. Assholes sell them on there to people dumb enough to buy them or scalpers I guess

passwords all over the internet - blogsites have them and radio stations gave it out, the tampa show i think gave the early code. if peeps late to forum then they were aZZed out - :crying:  but if googled mad quick to find if needed it. and putting links here to point out ebay listings is kinda helping promote them. i tried telling mods to take out posts with email and links to those selling passwerds but they aint listening.  ???

what we should do here is pay for passowrd now and have unique code - like tom petty does and only fanclub dudes score primo seats - scalpers get cheapo and cant resale - HELLO? someone think about doing that.

anyone who bids on it is wasting theire money.  I ordered tix for the Nashville show during the presale, but checked today and floor seats are still available. 

the pre sale is special privilege for us die hard fans, i hate when this opportunity is taken advantage of

Sorry if the info is already out there, but I haven't seen it - has there been a presale for all the N. American shows so far?  I'm hoping this will be the case for the eventual NY shows.

This sort of thing gets mentioned a lot, the only way people like this go out of business is if no-one buys off them.

Like all bootleggers this guy will keep going because he's selling something people want and people are buying off him.
