glad to hear GNR coming to this area...i was down there for a show a couple years ago with some friends i was visiting, cant remember what show, but I thought it was a nice coliseum.

The only bad thing about impersonating Slash or Buckethead would be the crowd you really want to see them, and could be let down if they find out its a goof

Interesting that in 2002 they were going to play in Greensville, SC.  This year in Greensboro, NC.  Only reason that it is weird is because I moved to a town called Greensville last year!

The GnR people don't reveal any dates. The venue releases them whenever they fix it up with Gnr. The GnR people don't reveal anything.

They started the european tour with al dates announced. This time they have only announced a few dates with the tour starting tonight. Then again, it's not really the proper tour yet, only warmups...so we'll see.

Will they dress up as Velvet Revolver as a little riposte to this?

According to mygnr's message board the Cleavland date is missing too... Perhaps these dates were accidently leaked, so now they've been removed until they announce all the dates... Hopefully this week...

If tickets are going on sale this Saturday then they should be re-releasing it very soon. On a local radio station's website they are saying they will be giving out tickets to a lucky caller.

Yeah, they're not going to wait until Friday to announce it, so by Wednesday/Thursday we should have these dates officially released... And hopefully all the other dates they've scheduled as well...


Unless of course tickets don't go on sale this Saturday, but I don't even want to think about that...  :no:

i emailed them and got this reply:

At this time, it should still listed under the date of Oct 31 but we pushed the on-sale back to Sept 30 as radio commercials were delayed.?  We plan on press releasing later this week but the show is still scheduled and should be a very good one.

Hi Jake - the show is still a go for October 31. It does appear the date
tickets will go on sale will be moved to NEXT Saturday - September 30.
We are awaiting a final confirmation on that detail but the show is

Conspiracy theory me: Final confimation = tour announcemnt somtime by next Fri... The page originally said CD to be released later this month, if that is to be posted Oct 1st (the day after tickets go on sale) CD next month! Yeah.... I'm not really expecting it... But it's always a possibility, right?

I thought it was going to be hard to wait for this Saturday. The wait till next Saturday will be unbearable.

A question for you locals, do you think this show will be a sell-out?

It's hard to say... I see a lot of people around here with GNR shirts, and GNR listed on their Facebook accounts... But they just might stand out to me and be a small minority... I hope it's a sell out... But I really have no idea...

I heard today on the radio that tickets go on sale this Saturday. This mistake could be a good thing for us hardcore fans. Other than this I haven't heard anything at all about the concert, another bonus for us. I won't be able to get there in time to get a good spot in the floor area so I'm going to go for the lower area seating. Do you guys believe this is going to cost the maximum of $75?

I'm pretty sure $75 will just be floor... But I've been wrong before...

The Guns N' Roses concert at the Greensboro Coliseum has a new date: Nov. 2 at 8 p.m.

The originally announced concert date (Oct. 31) was amended due to a change in the tour's routing, the coliseum announced today.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Greensboro Coliseum advance box office, online at www.tickets.com, at Tickets.com outlets at participating Triad area Lowes Foods locations and by calling Tickets.com toll free at (888) 397-3100.

Two types of tickets will be offered: general admission tickets on the arena floor that allow patrons to stand in a club-style atmosphere and reserved arena seating around the perimeter of the coliseum in the lower and upper levels.

Tickets are $39.50, $49.50 and $75
