Title: Amos Lee/Ray LaMontagne
Post by: comaknight on September 14, 2006, 02:07:56 PM
Amos has a new album coming out next month.? Loved the first one.? Heard the new one - it's great, but needs a few listens to be appreciated.? Ray's new record stunned me.? Again, a grower.? On the 3rd listen it's brilliance hit me and I can't stop listening.? It's called "Till the Sun Turns Black" and I highly recommend it.

additional question for my fellow gunners... has anyone received an email from concertstonight.com (metropolitan talent) about an internet presale for his NY show?? The presale is tmw but I haven't gotten anything yet.? Maybe they're holding off til the last minute (like Sanctuary did on the 2 added Hammerstein shows)?? Let me know, folks...

I thought I was the only Amos Lee/Ray LaMontagne fan on here.? :D

Love them both.

Amos Lee's Black River is such a beautiful song. Colors and I'm Not Myself are also incredible.

Ray is brilliant. I love All The Wild Horses, Trouble and Shelter.

Definitely.

I've been listening to Three More Days constantly.

"Keep it Loose, Keep it Tight" is my favorite, with "Colors" not far behind.  Glad to know there are other fans around here...
