Izzy and Axl have reconciled their differences, which is great, because they were the founders of GNR, and the key songwriters on Appetite for Destruction, GNR Lies, and Use Your Illusions. I think Izzy is going to make appearances with the band in the US--maybe not every night, but many of them!!

I read somewhere that Izzy didn't like to make videos so he didn't show up to make the Dont cry video, so that's why they put the message "where's Izzy"But yeah... why did he really leave? what's his story? as for him leaving, the band got too big, the pressure becamse to much for him and he found it hard to go on tour without drug use, so he quit for his won good basically Title: Re: Where's Izzy? - He was clean since '89 and Slash/Duff weren't, it wasn't easy hanging around with them. He didn't want to wake up next to Slash's body one day knowing indirectly he participated in it. - Axl became a dictator/controll freak, the power went to his head. - The music had taken a backseat to all the bullshit, he didn't like the very slow recording process of UYI, the riots and showing up late etc. When he left the final drop according to him was a contract given to him by Axl which would lower him down the totum pawl (spelling? :P) He said it would give him a paycheck cut and said where he could and couldn't go on stage. He said he didn't sign it especially since he helped start the band. So he left and said it felt like there was a big load off his shoulders. Title: Re: Where's Izzy?
