Well, the Guns N Roses Star Logo is also there, so maybe its just some promo artwork for a T-shirt.

What are the dimentions for most album covers? We can see if it adds up to this, though of course it could easily be changed but still you never know...

Back on topic ! I think there are some nice illustrations out there plus the logos that gnronline used.. some I have seen on fan sites, t-shirts and other things...this could be just one of this !

Ok so I know this was used on the Vegas shirt 1/01/01.. but can someone tell me what the hell it is for really? I mean why would this logo appear? Was it just for the 2002 tour posters? I know its not going to be the artwork obviously but is the tour posters the only reason for its existance?

You know what... I was looking and remembering the illustrations that I have seen in the past years from 2000 and you are right... this is not even the best...

I would like an illustrated cover like afd more than a picture, but they could do better than that.

                   Yeah the Buddha cover to me is pretty good. I think they should have lots of Chinese symbols and and maybe a flag on the cover. By now the albums pretty debateable track wise and cover wise.

I'm a little tired of all the Chinese symbols.

I like the cover in the middle in the post up a few, cool as hell.

Damn the first two look awesome. I'd go for the red one, it's a little more eye-catching.

That Buddha one is the coolest and most intriguing cover I've seen yet. All the others look like they're done by amateurs that are trying too hard to look serious.

I hope it's not the official cover art - that's not very beautifull...
I think they should quit the black n' red and put more colours on the cover art. Put some blue, some white or some yellow.... make the cover art be a beautifull thing for the eyes (the Illusion Lp's are beautifull, especially Use 2).
black n' red with big fonts is too much associated with... you know... all those kind of "metal" cover arts and "metal" albums, it's ugly. It doesn't work for GN'R.
Put colours, put some life in the cover art. Robin can do it what do you think? his website is beautifull. Very well designed? 8)

Something tells me thats not the album cover. They have album covers there and also other logo designs that aren't. Besides, how would a company like that get the artwork before ANYONE else in the press/music industry?

I just hope the real CD cover will kick ass and that the album will be in a great packaging. You can do amazing stuffs these days.

Lets hope Robin's influence can bring some sort of taste to the issue. The first poster with the guy with the bandana and the other one with the guy wearing a gas mask punching his first are the only half decent pieces of artwork that have come from the new era. The star, and ALL those mobile phone wallpapers are terrible. People shouldn't be able to buy adobe products without first proving they have taste.

I'd be shocked if Robin doesn't have something to do with the art. But IMO everything but TSI has a good cover.

Everyone always mentions the bike on the wall. Has anyone else ever seen the cover thats on the European versions of the Tokyo DVDs?

If you go into the discography on those versions theres a listing for CD, I think it says June 2002 or something for the release date. But more importantly there's a really shitty cover shown there. It's like a Mars looking backgrouna and picture of Axl in a space suit looking thing. It's TERRIBLE.

No one ever really mentions it so I was wondering if anyone else has even seen it. To be clear, I believe it's the Euro versions of the DVDs. They are in bright yellow and blue packages with the bullet logo on the front.

We used to sell them at Media Play here in the States and they were released about 3 or 4 months before the US ones.

cuz those dvd's are bootlegs, not official, somebody had to make the artwork, that axl pic is from the SIDHY video i think, why would a new official product have a 10 year old picture on it? :-\

Oh I don't know. I didn't know those DVDs were bootlegs. I never knew we sold any bootlegs in the Musicland company thats why I thought they were the official ones for Europe.

I like the concept but I dont dig the spacesuit and aliens. Change that, but same idea, and that would be pretty kickass.

why would they have this for the cover? the pic of axl is 15 years old, it's not a solo record it's a guns n roses record so it should be all the members on it not only axl.. and why the space suit? and the aliens?... this would be a really bad cover on the album
