I have always disliked Tom Cruise in general, but lately with his antics I've taken a strong dislike to him. I agree that constantly gossipping about celebs is lame, but when something like this happens (seeing how so much hype has been built up around the fact that he wasn't showing any pictures of the baby) I figured it's worth posting.

I honestly don't think it was their child. I saw a pic of Katie posted on the 'net a few months before she had the baby and you could VERY clearly see from the angle it was taken at that she was not pregnant - looked like a giant balloon was under her shirt. Now, normally one might say, "Okay, maybe it's a visual trick or something" - but Tom's publicist threatened to sue any website posting the picture and it had to be taken down from EVERY site on the 'net that was hosting it.

Doesn't that seem a bit odd? Hell, I've never heard of anyone single-handedly taking down a photo from the Internet before.

No, it really happened. They filed cease and desists and released a statement saying they'd pursue legal action if any site hosted the image. It was taken down from all popular sites almost immediately. I haven't seen it since.

I'm sure they took it down from popular sites, I was just saying it's pretty much impossible to prevent a picture from being displayed on the Internet. If it's interesting enough to be shown, it will be shown...

That's a very beautiful little girl they have there. Still, I feel sorry for her... with these parents. I mean they are so fuckin weird (at least Tom is...). She's probably going to have to endure all kinds of Scientology crap.  :nervous:
