Hey all,

I'm currently trading for pro-shot dvds and I've noticed there are loads of different sources for each show.

Can somebody point out the best version/s for each pro-shot show??

check http://dvd.gnr.gr for all DVD bootlegs. mostly JohnM and Limulus versions are the best ones

Yea, I've been using that and its very helpful, but sometimes you can't judge it by the screenshots fully.

well not every Limulus version is the best one, for example for Rock In Rio III the best version is Southern Cross as far as I know, but you can still watch descriptions and lineage of each DVD, the lower generation, the better. at digital stuff, the less compression steps, the better.

I just thought I'd mention that the Ritz 88 (Unknown) version is superb.  It's hard to imagine there is a better one than that.  Great video quality.  I also have the Bondage version, and it's very good as well, plus you get bonuses (Farm Aid, '88 VMAs, and '89 American Music Awards).

And Will uncensored isnt best uncensored aswell,unknown uncensored,is way better.

well I mean that southern cross with almost-complete rebroadcast + the rest original broadcast as bonus. no offense man, I just like this version :)

i have unknown tv broadcast on 2dvds,authored by annonymous,and its better then this.

yes I mean that southern cross from the guide.

I have more versions, one is some 1DVD unauthored, from original broadcast. but it's a bit worse quality. there are more versions of RIR3

So can somebody who has seen alot of these confirm the best ones?

I don't care about menus/bonuses, the main thing is picture quality followed by sound quality.

what xBrownstonex wrote, that's true. I'm not sure about that uncensored Chile but I think I heard of that, so BTD is right most probably. and there's a version of Argentina 93 with better quality than authored versions but I'm not sure if it's out for open trade, I just saw some screenshots long time ago

But John M version of Chicago 92 is not best,Fan4fan is gen1 and its best.

acually the fan4fan "gen1" is proven to be a mistake in terms of generation. it has some more from "paradise city", its mono only, also there is some small ugly image jumping most of the time!

also for the dvd guide......XP mode is ~60min only.

The one i have is NTSC and it's stereo.
But if you think there are mistakes on the guide please let me know.
I can use all the info i can get.
