He calls himself the 'dean of American rock critics' but most of the time I don't know what he's on about. This is a link to his GNR reviews (he gave AFD a grade of B-).

Most rock critics use sentences like "Coldplay's cryptoslavic dispensationalism resides in an esoteric utilization of chromatic progressions actualized by postobjectivist defenestration". :rofl:
