They played WTTJ on Idol this night (first episode,just the auditions right now so noone performed it,it was there like background music when it started) and later they played an AC/DC song,can't remeber which one.

Jane's Addiction covered that song wayyy better than GnR about 5 years prior. GnR's version is a colassal failure.

no, he plays rhytm. it's Slash on lead

I think its a good version until you listen to the original, which you then realise is a classic which can't be matched.

I read some where Paul Tobias plays the response licks in the first solo, which is between two guitars one in each speaker. I read huge played the response one. He recorded while Slash was away from the studio. Slash came back in not knowing Huge worked on the song. He hated the parts and Paul Tobias.

I'm glad someone else feels that way! Their version has actually grown on me through the years but I still don't like it too much. I *HATED* it when it was released!
