Title: Links to Downloads of New Songs and covers played in 06 Post by: 1987 on August 24, 2006, 12:26:34 AM I figured some people would be interested in hearing all of the new songs that were played on the last tour.. all of these were downloaded off this site.. but i figured it would be easier for people if they were all in one place... Better, IRS, The Blues and My Michelle with Baz are very good quality.. they are from Rock AM...
Maddy and Chinese Democracy are ok.. .if there are better versions available.. from this tour please post a link.. the quality of the covers isn't that great.. but its the only versions i could find. and lite my fire is only about 45 seconds.. but sounds very cool.. i wish they played the full song.. if anyone has anything to add please do... or if they can clean up any these.. that would be awsome.. anyway.. here they are i know there is one or two live versions of TWAT out there... but hears the quality is pretty bad.. so didn't bother since everyone has the demo.. Title: Re: Links to Downloads of New Songs and covers played in 06 Post by: 1987 on August 25, 2006, 01:09:18 AM does anyone have better versions of CD, madagascar or any of the covers? i like all of the new songs.. and like the 06 versions even better than the 02 versions.. .the 02 version i have have been "remastered" or "cleaned up" so well by some of the guys on the board.. that they are cleaner versions than anything on live era... even the vegas version of rhiad is pretty clean.. which is pretty impressive... considerign how raw the original bootleg was.. anyways i know alot of people get pissed about taking the live element out of boots.. but for the new songs or covers that we have never heard before.. and don't have a studio version as an option... then i'm all for toying with what we have to get the cleanest version possible..

The first time I heard it I must've listened to it a dozen times the first 2 days or so. I've never heard the original but I can't see how it could be anywhere close to the performance Axl puts on. His voice is spectacular for that one.
