When they emailed to tell you that, did they happen to mention the possibility of releasing some material?

Awesome! But Mysteron do Guns N' Roses expect to sell out arenas without any new material?

No.

all mysteron can do is give us a chance to get first crack at the tix, the only one who can determine if they play new material is axl. ?regardless i would still go see them even if all they play of the new material is 3-4 new songs.

Sold out quite a lot of venues in the UK and Europe without releasing any new material. :peace:

there are no presales needed at the moment i`d guess....  we`re neither talking about venues like hammerstein, nor about big cities like new york....

there are more important things to care about at the moment, like releasing an album... well...    i?m sure axl knows what he`s doing :hihi:

true .... releasing CD is the most important thing, but thats out of our control.  However I do think pre-sales are necessary for die hard fans because we have the opportunity to control our chances of getting first shot at the tix, and thats about the only thing we can control

If he knows anything that he is allowed to tell he will.

Thanks again for doing all this Mysteron, and all the others involved.

Which is something I still don't understand.

The Stones can keep selling out US tours. They release new material but none of it comes close to matching the majesty of their classic stuff. And honestly, does anyone go to a Stones show now to hear the new stuff?

So why can't Americans who dig rock music go and watch Axl belt out his classics in the same way the Brits and Europeans can?

Because, speaking in broad terms, we Americans have short attention spans. We need MTV, or a Super Bowl Halftime show to tell us whats popular now. GnR were never media darlings so they cant depend on any free publicity from the talking head shows on television or in the papers.

For the most part, only the die-hards have a clue about whats happening right now.

Thanks, Mysteron for the update and thanks to whoever is behind making this happen. I like the extra chance that a presale gives me for getting tickets.

it?s because the rolling stones isn`t just mick jagger and some new guys now : ok:

edit: that`s also the reason why they don`t come close to their old stuff.... they`ve done it allready : ok:

I also think its awesome to have the pre-sales. Having the Die Hard fans upfront and with the good seats is what it is all about. We have all waited a long long time for these guys to play and we are the ones who have took time out of our lives to enjoy this band so its great to have a presale, and not let the average joe, or scalpers to suck up the good seats. We have to stay hush hush on the passwords and keep it a message board only thing. Mysteron (cough Axl) thanks for everything you do for us. If I ever have the honer to meet you the beer is on me

To release a new matereal is not our job as far as I knwo, but to secure our tickets is...

A thousand thanks to Mysteron and all the others involved. GNR is such a fan loving band. :D

Judge Dredd, go to the krog thread and tell us what you think.

They are Guns N Fucking Roses, they will have no problem selling out shows.  They wont sell all of them out, but this will be a good way to get the people here in the states excited about GNR again.   : ok:  a lot of us were too young to see GNR back in the day.

thank you so much Mysteron for the pre-sales.  :peace:

AWESOME! Getting in on the tickets early has been killer so far. Hopefully this continues as the dates roll out to over here on the east coast.

I think it's great to have so many people in and around the organization working to help the true fans out!

Thanks Mysteron!  See ya'll on the East coast eventually!  I showed rock-am-ring WTTJ to someone who hasn't seen Axl since '91.  She was definitely amazed.  I'm already practicing my middle finger flip-off for Philly when I see Pierre "Axl-basher" Roberte from WMMR outside the gig.  That show is going to be insane!   :peace:

okay, this presale will be done through this site?

for those who've used this presale thing through here before, will it be a better situation than Inland Invasion?

Deffinetly use it, if youre planning on going.

There's not a reason not to..

You just get a password and then go to ticketmaster when the presale starts, and tyype it in, and buy your tickets. Youre basically guarentee'd a ticket...

Thanks Jarmo and Mysteron.
Pre-sales are definitely needed for the fans even at Arena shows. I just hope the front rows are not reserved (as usual) for the local radio stations presenting the shows.? That way, chances are a lot of random people will be sitting in the front rows.

Mysteron I was wondering.. will there be more California dates later? Like an LA date (that isn't Inland Invasion.. which really isn't LA anyways..)?

Because if you know this it would be great to have an answer... I don't want to go to Bakersfield unless I got to.

If you don't know or don't want to tell its ok. Thank you  : ok:

Nah, if Mysteron was Axl he would begin each sentence with "absolutely."  :hihi:

But seriously, I can't commit unless I know for sure there won't be ny L.A. shows.  It's a good thing I didn't sign up for Vegas or SF because I had an inkling these shows would happen, now the gambler in me HOPES that Los Angeles will see Axl!
