Title: WHITE SOX CHAMPIONSHIP RING:SO CLOSE BUT YET SO FAR Post by: Annie on August 21, 2006, 06:28:09 PM To celebrate their winning the World Series, the Chicago White Sox had a raffle to support their charities. 3 winners were selected to win a diamond and onyx Championship ring that was identical to the ones that were awarded to all the White Sox players. I entered the contest because in the long shot that I would win, I thought it would be cool to give it to Axl since he likes bling and in my mind he is a true champion in the way he has totally reinvented GNR. Anyway my number was 20857 and one of the three winning numbers was 20867. That is just too cruel! :'(
