Title: Re: 2002-12-03 Hartford, CT - FLAC AUD - dimeadozen Post by: gnr2006 on August 22, 2006, 10:37:44 PM Don't download this. It is actually a LOSSY source. I had received it as part of a multi show torrent and I guess I didn't check this one.
I've asked the dime moderators to remove it. Title: Re: 2002-12-03 Hartford, CT - FLAC AUD - dimeadozen Post by: Mr. Redman on August 22, 2006, 10:48:57 PM Don't download this. Must've downloaded it from Timebomb's multipack torrents? Yes, I did. But I don't blame him, it's my own fault for not doing spectral analysis before seeding it. Maybe there is something I don't understand, like the equipment used to tape, but if I'm not mistaken this is clearly lossy: http://www.thenewguns.com/spectralhartford.jpg Title: Re: 2002-12-03 Hartford, CT - FLAC AUD - dimeadozen Post by: estebanf on August 23, 2006, 12:38:32 AM EDIT DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS IT'S LOSSY :) those are REALLY bad news. I have the same files. Do you know what other shows from those packs are lossy sourced? thanks for telling us this, even when it is bad news. Damn, I hate when these things happens. I hope that this is the only lossy show from those packs. Spectral analysis should be a requirement in trackers like DAD or PCT. The Marquee 87 full SBD was also lossy. Why? I dont see the need of telling these kind of lies. Why say (like the marquee SBD) ''LOSSLESS SOURCE'' if it's not. If there is not a better source, I would have no problems in downloading lossy files. But I cant stand those lies. Of course, you have nothing to do with it. Thanks for sharing and for telling us the truth : ok: Title: Re: 2002-12-03 Hartford, CT - FLAC AUD - dimeadozen Post by: timebomb on August 23, 2006, 12:43:40 AM how the hell was i to know i put my trust in john m where i got it from. sorry all i did not know
i have no idea how to check my files i can not just be told i have to be shown how to check them Title: Re: 2002-12-03 Hartford, CT - FLAC AUD - dimeadozen Post by: EFISH on August 23, 2006, 12:46:59 AM so did john m. rip you off then? thatd be very lame of him, i thought he was a respected trader.
and i cant tell from those pictures, but gnr2006, r u positive that it is lossy? Title: Re: 2002-12-03 Hartford, CT - FLAC AUD - dimeadozen Post by: Pandora on August 23, 2006, 05:30:34 AM It is most definitely lossy. No doubt about that.
Title: Re: 2002-12-03 Hartford, CT - FLAC AUD - dimeadozen Post by: timebomb on August 23, 2006, 01:10:57 PM I got the hartford show in a trade, I was told it was lossless.
I do not know how to check spectral analysis to see if it is lossy. When i trade i trade for lossless only. Everything I buy or trade for I share and put up for the fans. Are you sure the marquee sbd is lossy? I bought this as advertised as not mp3 source SBD? I do not lie I tell the truth, if anything is lossy it is becuase someone before me was not telling the truth when traded to me. I just want to share with the fans lossless. What is the program to run anaylisis post link please and explain how to use Thanks Title: Re: 2002-12-03 Hartford, CT - FLAC AUD - dimeadozen Post by: Pandora on August 23, 2006, 01:44:51 PM timebomb, this is a good start I think :
http://www.audiohub.org/get/fa/fa.htm You can use EAC, Audacity or Adobe Audition to run the analysis. Title: Re: 2002-12-03 Hartford, CT - FLAC AUD - dimeadozen Post by: sjgotnitro on August 23, 2006, 01:46:17 PM Well I guess we can asume that Timebomb meant no harm and truly thought the stuff was lossless, you know he hates lossy stuff for trading. No harm done lets get back to buisness and SHARE
Timebomb thanks for all you have always shared, especially your dime stuff was priceless tons and tons of stuff in 90 days. Same to the rest of you guys, thanks for always sharing. ?:peace: Title: Re: 2002-12-03 Hartford, CT - FLAC AUD - dimeadozen Post by: sjgotnitro on August 23, 2006, 01:47:22 PM timebomb, this is a good start I think : http://www.audiohub.org/get/fa/fa.htm You can use EAC, Audacity or Adobe Audition to run the analysis.
