The Material Girl threw a ?60,000 double celebration on Wednesday ? to mark her 48th birthday and the night her UK tour ended.
But she left big-name guests including KEVIN SPACEY and GWYNETH PALTROW to make small talk with the crew and roadies as they waited for the Queen Of Pop to arrive.
Only Madge would have the balls to keep Hollywood stars like that waiting.
JAMIE OLIVER and wife JOOLS, actor JASON STATHAM and rocker AXL ROSE were also there, as (oddly) was rugby ace LAWRENCE DALLAGLIO.

I think it's kinda cool that my 2 favorite artists were hanging out together! : ok When i went to the Madonna concert in Chicago I was dressed in my best Madonna wannabe outfit and I brought a purse that had a picture of Axl on it and I was Interviewed by the WGN entertainment reporter and I was talking about Axl and how great the Hammerstein Ballroom shows were. Then I sang LIKE A PRAYER and talked about how that song meant alot to me and one of my favorite cancer patients. Before Renee died we would go clothes shopping for Madonna clothes. On our last spree LIKE A PRAYER came on the radio and we blasted it! They didn't put me on Tv but it was still alot of fun to talk about Madonna and Axl!

I'd rather the album sold because of the quality of the music, not because Axl appeared at Madonna's birthday to promote himself and put his name about. I hope his enjoying himself is just that: to enjoy himself. And I presume that it is.

I've got no problem with it or Madonna even though I ain't a fan of her music, major superstars are often rubbing shoulders and stuff, the day I'd have a problem would be if axl was a special guest with bands like westlife or something lmao.

Elton Johns career is none too hot at the moment, maybe Axl should drop Dizzy and employ Elton instead, that would give out very confusing signals to the fans, although Pittman might feel more at home  :hihi:

A lot of them people would have sucked and fucked to be SEEN there, they need the publicity, they need the people who surround madonna ( important people).

Plus, madge just finished her tour, give her a break.

 at least madonna has released music that has been played all over this past year or so.. I think when you release as much as she does it all can't be memorable, but most of it is known..

I agree the suits are quite fetching on him.  But, ugh, those braids.  Ruins his whole look.  An adult haircut is in order, then he'd be downright perfect,IMHO.  Oh, well to each his own, I guess. :peace:
