I bought a copy of LLAS in Notting Hill a few years ago; the seller told me that it was original but now I'm not so sure about it. Are the thickness and the weight the only two ways to recognize it from a fake? If it is so, it would be really hard to distinguish one from an other. Any other piece of advice? Post by: wadey on August 18, 2006, 05:43:54 AM i think that there is also a slight colour variation between the 2. the black on the front cover has got a red cast to it, not much but enough to notice and its the same on the cassette. if you look at the back cover of lies there is no red cast, i think its the same for the fakes, ie the cover is true black without the red cast. i think

if you look on ebay a user from china is selling 4 copies still in shrink. he's got 4 different listings all the same but different item numbers.? ?'CHINA'? the bootlegging capital of the world. ill be very suprised if all these are for real.
