One of my friends has been dying to get her lips done but is afraid to go by herself, and said she would pay for me to get mine injected if I'd go along with her.? They seem fairly harmless and I'm curious how they'd look...? but on the other hand, I like my lips so I'd be alittle scared that they'd turn out too big if I got something done to them.... Anyway, anyone ever tried it??

Is this a board certified doctor who will be doing it, or an anesthetician?  You have to ask yourself are you 100% sure you know what's going to in that needle, because I've heard many stories of women getting SILICONE when they thought they were getting collagen. 
Also, you sound very unsure about this?  A good rule of thumb is Doubt Means Don't!  If you don't know what to do, do nothing until you're sure.

You said you like your lips the way they are... That's your answer.  Injections come with risk of infections as well.  Please don't be persuaded because your friend is willing to pay for it.  Hold her hand if she's scared, but don't do it.  Not if you like your lips the way they are.

Don't do it!! Not unless you have no lips in the first place, but I'm pretty sure you DO have lips, so DON'T DO IT!!

... I think that she's probably talking about those silly little injection things that you can get done, not purchasing inflatable lips like that blonde a few posts up. I saw it on a prom queen show on MTV a little while back........................

I do think that doing it just to give a bit o' moral is a pretty bad reason, though.

Lip injections are painful.  Yes, very painful.  Your lips swell for a couple of day and bleed from the injection sites.  If you dont need them dont have them done. 

For the love of God or any force you believe dont do it, like someone said before if there is a single doubt on you, just don't do it, you are perfect anyway  :-*

The lips on that girl above ... her name is Leslie Ash and she had injections.  That's exactly what she had.  She famously had them and then everyone in the UK took the fucking piss out of her 'trout pout' ... She even had to film her TV series like it.  Funny tho, she said she'd been having the injections for years and then this one went wrong.

Ive seen hysterical tears for both, have neither myself so cant answer that on a personal level.  We do botox, collagen, restalyne at my salon.  Lip injections very popular but honey they are real painful.  Unless you are desperate to have this done then leave well alone.
