Alright, this sounds like a bullshit topic but im not making this up. All of my friends know that I am obsessed with GNR, so if they hear something about them they tell me.

So my friend matt calls me this morning, and says he just heard on the new york station Q1043 that Cd was coming out in september. Maybe someone can do a follow up. I dont know the dj and matt wasnt even sure if Q1043 is the right station. Just thought I d share what i heard.

I can't imagine it coming out before November, but then again - remember when we were all pissed about the first 2 Hammerstein shows being sold out, mostly to scalpers? Then GNR Management kicked some fucking ass and blew us all away. ?We're not dealing with stupid people - when they do it, it'll be done right.

How odd, i've just had a really heavy dose of deja vu. It's like this very question took place in a dream i had years ago. Only on reading this post at this precise moment has triggered this feeling.


September was metioned some time ago. It was then pushed back to November, so nothing new there  :peace:

Need a little more info here, who was the DJ (Jim Kerr since he does the morning show?), etc....Q104 is a pretty reputable classic rock station here in NY and the station that Eddie Trunk broadcasts from etc, they generally wouldn't be throwing around info without some source but alas I didn't hear this myself....

When Slash said June/July 2006 i though we're in with a chance of seeing the album. When that date came and went and the date September was touted about, i really believed. When that date changed to November i thought maybe, maybe by the end of 2006. New i am back to thinking, when ever  :peace: 2006, 2007, 2008  :hihi:

With the LV shows just springing up, and by the way GNR just sprung up out of now where in 06, I wouldnt put it past GNR to say CD will be really on "this" day, just completely out of no where, bc thats how they have been so far. so who knows

..didn't Izzy say he had been played CD although it was not a fully finished/produced album. I wonder how much he was played? was he only played the tracks that could/would be played live, was Izzy played a rough cut of CD intentionally or played a rough cut as no fully produced version exists yet  :peace:

It's coming out in November. We've had this all but officially announced for ages now, you freaks.

There would be a single out already if there was actually a release date in Sept.....CD - not until late November at the earliest....hope I'm wrong.

Will Chinese Democracy or just in case they decide to change the name of the album will Guns N' Roses's new album come out in 2006? ?I can live with the fact t won't be out in September I didn't expect that. ?But I hope they release it this year.

Yes. It's supposed to come out late fall, well at least thats when Axl said it's going to be out. Since you know Axl has a bit of a reputation for being a "rebel", I wouldn't expect the album out this fall, but definetly this year. Hey, if it's out in the fall, hooray!, we all win :beer:

Yeah but I'd like to have Mysteron confirm or deny.  I believed Axl when he said it would be out in late fall.  But now I'm not so sure.  Like I said if logic is applied, you pretty much know that a September release was not going to happen.  And if logic is applied, if they don't announce a release date by the 2nd week of October then a "late fall" release is not going to happen.  And that is assuming they would release it at the end of November.  And if they do not announce a release date by the 1st week of November well then you can pretty much throw out 2006 as the year we'll see the release of GNR's new album.  And everyday that goes by without an announcement well the more I fear that 2006 will not be the year again. :(
