that's normal, just Freezed is sharing it right now, it will get better through time, don't be so fucking inpatient :hihi: let the utorrent running, it doesn't matter that it's slow, you're building your ratio :smoking:, it will be fast as hell after a few days but it would ruin your ratio

DVD's take ages to d/l often a few days - sometimes a week. Leave your BT Program running you'll also be seeding aswell as leeching and it'll help your ratio (rather than jumping on when theres 100 seeders and not many leechers, you finish the d/l quicker but your ratio will suffer more as there's not many people for you to seed it for).

For anyone having trouble with this torrent I use Azureus and Bit Tornado and they always seem to work well for me with Dime....

Put the files you downloaded into a VIDEO_TS folder and burn a video DVD using a burning software such as CopyToDVD.

Well, just finished my d/l. Sorry to torment all those that can't get on dime, but it's stunning. The best concert recording of GnR that exists- the picture is so clear, you can see signs half the stadium away, and really see what everyone in the band is up to all the time. The sound is great, perfect for cranking up loud and rocking out to- it's a great way of bringing back those tour memories.

Camera focuses a bit too much on Axl, and there are a couple of times when shots have been edited into the wrong place in a song for some reason, but it doesn't really matter.

Everyone who follows this band needs to see this.

If you poke around on the internet there are codes you can enter on the remote for most new DVD players that will make them region free even if they say they are just NTSC.  My new Phillips plays anything even though it is geared to the US.  And if you don't have a new player, one that has the ability to do this will set you back 50 bucks, tops.

Well crazy enough I am getting this torrent to actually download. Its only going around 52 KIB/s though. Any suggestions on getting this to download faster? This is my first torrent download. it says the download has 46 hours remaining! Damn...was hoping to see this tonight. I hope someone has some advice for me to get this badboy to go faster. That's a reasonable average- my download took about 30 hours in all. 4 Gb is a pretty huge file! Just be patient, and you'll get there. Trust me, it's definitely worth the time.

Just finished and watching it with Windows Media Player. Does anyone know how I could view this/if I can as a DVD on my computer. Someone mentioned something like PowerDVD? Theres like 5 files, each 20 minutes long or so, so I'm watching those but they cut in between songs so was just wondering if I could get some help..

I assume it is, I haven't looked at Will's links, but in converting to DivX and therefore compressing the source, quality is inevitably lost to some degree.

EFISH, use power DVD, then the open Source option, and point it to the Video_TS directory. It should figure the rest out, and present the start screen to you.

I've watched this and it's excellent.

The only downside is that you cannot hear Robin at all - he gets drowned out alot by the others so alot of the solos can't be heard...  :-\

thanks so much for this, it is great. i have a question, is anybody else's audio out of sync towards the begining of the concert? the audio does not match up with axl's mouth during WTTJ, but is fine towards november rain. i think something happened to put the audio out of sync when i burnt it to dvd, but i just wanted to check with everybody else to make sure.

Really? Because I just re-scanned through the whole thing staring at Axl's mouth during each song and it seems right on point on my PC.  Then again the show spends half the time spanning the crowd with the camera swinging around so if it is out of sync it certainly is hard to notice.

During which song does it go out of sync on yours?

the first 5-6 songs for me only 1/4 1/3 sec just but noticable enough to annoy some times it seems worse other times it doesnt notice

It's really ovious during welcome to the jungle imo because I noticed it the first time I watched it.

It's around the 1:50-2:00 minute point. It shows scenes from later on from the song. It shows Axl moving his shoulders when he does the "when you high you never wanna come down" part and when he leans on Tommy. Both scenes are seen later on in the song.

Thats it. They used a kind of 'patch' for some reason but it's a bad one at that as the mic isn't even near his mouth, lol.

I've watched it all twice now and its all in sync apart from that very few seconds mentioned above.

ok heres another thing i may or may not of noticed during november rain there are smoke machines either end of the stage about 4 meters up im sure in two scenes they reverse the picture so the smoke seems to be going back in

Try to restart the torrent, or restart ABC. If it doesn't work, just let it run for a while, it will connect eventually.

Redownload the .torrent file (and point to the right folder when you restart, which is the parent folder of the files you already downloaded).
