Also i think that Axl is the man with vision and he knows that,and main reason for 3 guitar players,and two lead players is he don't want to risk !!! GNR tracks typically have had 3-5 guitars on them with 3 simultaneuos guitars not being uncommon. So 3 guitarists aren't overkill for even just AFD material to be more accurately reproduced on stage. So that's really nothing new. Axl probably saw a chance with the roster changes to move the live sound (of both released and unreleased songs) closer to studio versions by adding third player.
