Here Today... Gone To Hell!

By the sounds of it, last night's show at Wembley arena was a complete success.  But what I'd like to know is this: Why so many cover songs?  Guns N' Roses have an extensive catalogue, fans are dying to hear more Use Your Illusions and Chinese Democracy songs but the band chooses to play covers instead.  Do you think that this was a wise decision?  In my opinion, they should ditch the covers an focus on their own tunes.

Because this aint no order it as you want it, mcdonalds and burger king.. and cover songs is funny to do sometimes

They should kill of kohd n lald already, there are so many other songs and other covers to try..

i agree, they should do more of their songs. but i'm guessing they dont want to take the effort to learn any more old songs because soon they will be playing a bunch of new songs.. so until the album is out we probably won't see much of a change in the set.  i'm actually surprised they are changing it as much as they have....

I hate it too. People need to start using their own fucking mind.



I think its a good thing. Looks like Axl is listening to the fans. People have been requesting more covers, CD, and UYI. He's taking baby steps. :hihi: I'd rather hear a few covers than more AFD any day of the week. :peace:

Maybe becasue they're not confident in the new material we haven't heard yet. Maybe because they felt the new stuff they had been playing wasn't going over well. Maybe because the guys in the band can't play the illsuion stuff properly(yet), maybe because they ran out of AFD songs. Maybe because they truely are going to become a full blown cover band and not just a  Guns N' Roses tribute band. Who knows.

I'm pretty sure they've have more than enough time to practice them  : ok: General Tommy Stinson is not doing his job properly  :hihi:
