When heavy metal's two greatest bands -- Guns N' Roses and Metallica -- toured together in 1992, it seemed to be a match made in headbanger heaven. But predictably, immense egos began to clash and the riffage began to sour. Word leaked out that members of Metallica weren't happy with Axl's antics -- most notably the riot incited by cutting Guns? set short at a concert in Montreal just after James Hetfield was seriously injured in a pyrotechnic accident. Axl, a sensitive soul, didn't take this sort of behind-the-back chatter well and persisted in dedicating "Double Talkin' Jive" -- a vicious, profane slap at backstabbing former friends -- to Lars Ulrich on their next world tour.
 
Aftermath: Guns N' Roses had their own internal issues and disbanded, piece by piece, between 1994 and 1997. Axl, hard at work ironing out some minor kinks in the surely-soon-to-be-released Chinese Democracy, clearly has no time for petty feuds.

I thought DTJ was an Izzy song?

It is but Axl dedicated it to people he had problems with in the past.

"Fuck the Police" is a great diss song.

Axl dedicated DTJ to Lars on the US '93 Skin N Bones tour a couple of times, no big deal really, I mean he also dedicated it to Izzy as well in '93.

Hahaha yeah, and he did it many many times.. "Do you.. do you guys remember a guy named Izzy Stradlin?" *Crowd cheers* "Good.. Fuck Izzy! This is a song called Double Talkin' Jive Motherfucker and it's dedicated to Izzy 'cause that what he iiiis!" :hihi: This is a good one also: "This is a song that Izzy wrote.. And I think he wrote about him self, this is a song called Double Talkin' Jive MOTHERFUCKER!"

How about 'your crazy',is that a diss song?cuz Axl dedicated that song for Tommy hillfiger.

Blackfoot - Stars its about Lynyrd Skynyrd and sounds kinda like "simple man".I think members of Blackfoot were in  Lynyrd Skynyrd at the beginning or something like that.I may be wrong thats just what my dad told me.Either way  its a great song about letting strardom get to your head.

Edit:I dont know if it was supposed to be only GNR songs but give it a listen if you have a chance anyway.

For the Appetite tour Axl used to dedicate "Out Ta Get Me" to people pissing him off, usually cops.

On the Illusion tour Axl dedicated "Double Talkin' jive" to anyone (and usually everythink) that was pissing him off.

He also usually dedicated "Live & Let Die" to people pissing him off, but DTJ normally consisted of a slightly long rant.

Especially during '91 leg of the tour.. but it is a great song to dedicate to assholes : ok: Also the part he did in RIR was cool.. hope he would use that kind of things in  the song more often.

I think the biggest diss song has got to be Get in the Ring. I mean he pretty much told everyone he hates to fuck off.

You can't get much better of a diss song than "get in the Ring".
