Here Today... Gone To Hell!

Hi Guys,

Not sure If this is the correct place, but I want to bootleg the Birmingham NEC gig next week for you all. Can you guys reccomended any mobile phones for audio and video recording and also cameras or audio recorders that you reccomend? I'll be getting some stuff on Saturday. Your advice is greatly appreciated.

If your going to bootleg on mobile dont bother it will be shit plus there will be at least two people audio bootleging the show so i would concentrate on enjoying the show more

YES YES THIS SHOW NEEDS TO HAVE A GOOD FILMING I WANT LASTING MEMORIES CAPTURED ON DVD!  Screenshot using a decent CAMCORDER would be good enough...roll on next tuesday!! :beer:

get a camcorder and put it in yer pants. or have a female put it in her bra. it works, trust me ;)

Thanks for the comments guys. I got the weapon of Choice today from our good friends in Solihull. A HandyCam DVD with 800x Digital Zoom and 20x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot. Should be able to get this one into the gig as it's small enough. I've got seated tickets in Block 2 so more of a side view I'm guessing. I'll still be able to enjoy the show so no worries anythinggoes. If anyone has any helpful hints roll on...

Awesome stuff - it never hurts to have mutliple sources recording. I know it sounds gross, but Id stuff it in my underwear to get past security.

Brilliant really pleased to see that you guys are recording the show. Im going to take my mini digital camera 6mp and stuff it in my pants, do they have metal sensors or just touch search? But will just take pics as im going right at the front if I can. gnfnr you want to meet up at the show? what time you getting there iv booked the day off work so i will get there before doors open proberly

Not sure depends where you'll be positioned, im gonna be in the standing area as close to the front as possible:D

if you really wanted a copy of the show to your standards then why didnt you film it yourself? i am happy of any footage from the gigs and even if it was bad quality or shaky it wouldnt bother me because i know that the person who filmed it,took the risk of getting thrown out and not seing the show themself 

Because of where i was standing, im certain axl would have figured out that I was filming the show, plus staring down a plastic object throughout the show would ruin it, it can be distracting enough taking pictures...

So 14years how did you do? What footage can we get from this show? IRS was awesome axls scream at the end ripped the place in two. erm i would love the blues as well was beutiful and had good old axl climb the piano! I loved the show and took 1gb of pics and videos
many are blurred, where should i post the pics?

Iv seen awesome videos of the security incident and IRS so does the whole show exist?

Id really love it as a momentum for an inspirational life.
