Budapest Maddie has the incredible ending, something that even rock am ring doesn 't have.

First time I heard that ending. I love how Axl delivers the ending. This song still is a chilling song. I love it. The studio will probably  be even better

Thank you Limulus. Is the MP3 you posted from the same FLAC source that been on dime for a while, or is this a new source?

THANK YOU!

Just when I thought this song couldn't get any better....I really really need to experience this song live before I go home to Australia.

my one is the Novarock Dime version -> edited/equalized...uh yeah and then put to mp3 so i was wrong with the frequencies being near SBD. but qualitywise this mp3 still "sounds" near soundboard, simply cause the venue sound/the recording itself ihas been great, even if the equalizing isnt set perfectly on there (yet) but its still way superior to the "imsorry" version qualitywise - but thats probably cause he/she did mp3 -> wav -> editing (where dynamic got lost badly)/equalizing -> mp3?which hurts my ears? :peace:

ok smart pants u dont know shit about frequencie range get your version add 8 db to treshold in some limiter (if u know what is it) open it in a 60 bands spectrum meter (again if u know what is it) and open an official live ERA tracks and compare the frequencie range ... yours is miles away from there and mine is just pretty close and my isnt from mp3.I shouldn't reply to this but ...
if u think yours is superior sorry but ure just a guy/girl with pretty bad ears period.  :peace:

comparing mp3s frequencies to full wav quality is a bad start to begin with. thats basically the reason why i said i was wrong in that frequencies stuff (previous posts). in general i wanted to say that that Novarock DIME AUD recording is simply the best one quality wise we have from this tour yet: great sound, less crowd noise etc.
about re-editing/equalizing: all subjective off course, some people seem to like equalizing it that way so frequencies look like "live(fake) era", fine! in your case doing your hard limiting /frequencies cutting/equalizing whatever gives your version indeed more look like the "live era" frequencies, agreed, but it just sounds more worse like my version or even the original DIME version. but yeah, thats still only my opinion, subjective again? : ok:? ? but the dynamic gets lost so much in that, i dont like that too much when the original AUD was much different before. peace out!

ok last reply cuz it doesnt add anything to me mine are from dime (flac) and if u really think your are the best or the original source that's cool the funny thing if u turn up the volume not saying softwares just level's of audio system or whatever the original will become a huge distortion of kick and hats and your's the  hats cuz u only cut the low end but that's cool and mine doesnt distorted at all at any level and i didnt compared mp3's with wav dont say somethin u have no idea the sendspace link is from novarock im talking about of novarock not the budapest one cuz u just cant compare to diference record's cuz there is no point doing that.  :peace:

my sample has been novarock aswell NOT budapest, i only talked about novarock quality in this topic. and yes you did compare my 128[!]mp3 to your flac/wav from that cause i only uploaded that one, re-read your post...you're even talking about my novarock frequencies! so far about saying "somethin u have no idea" or comparing different recordings.

and i still say: no other AUD recording from 2006 beats the novarock recording from DIME in terms of quality (even if thats subjective and judged from my ears? :hihi: ), its pretty objective in terms of sound quality though it needs some (very) small editing. and THERE the point.....this is the source people like you and me play around with equalizing/editing....which ends up in discussions like this as everyone has some different standards in it. but its still the original great sounding DIME source we are messing around with!! huge thanks to the band and the taper again? \m/

but back to the topic which i think was more like "best performance" of Madagascar 2006.......and yeah the Budapest version is kick-ass, last parts rule!!!!

i'm out now taping John Fogerty hopefully no need for equalizing? ;D
