Post by: GNRslaxl on July 12, 2006, 11:40:47 AM it would be cool, but i dont think that it will happen... when Gilby came here to Argentina to play some gigs, i was at the press conference.... and he was ask if he was invited to join VR...and he said no, but even if he was asked to join, he would not join, because he wanted to be like " lead " guitar, or lead of the band, he didnt wanted to be the "2nd" or the rhytmn guitar player. So i dont think there're any chances of Gilby joining VR.... even Izzy was more close to be part of the band with his guest appareances ( Smashbox 2003 -acoustic-, Italy 2004, Spain 2004 ect ) than Gilby.

But maybe they wanted to separate themselves from the GN'R minus Axl, by having a new rhythm guitarist. Then again, Izzy was jamming with them, so who knows?

Why? first, it would make him look like a beggar and hanger on (pun intended); and second, I want to see who they pick to front Supernova, and if Gilby were to join VR then the band would fold. Third, Dave is doing a really good job and they don't need Gilby.
