Title: Guns Mention in EW
Post by: johnnythunders24 on July 11, 2006, 05:45:33 PM
Entertainment weekely did a short interview on a new indie band called "tapes and tapes" and they asked them Gn'r related question....

Keeping on the metal tip, would you ever open for Guns N' Roses, just because of the cool symmetry of the resulting marquee signage?

If Axl calls us up and wants us to go on tour, I don't think I'm going to say no. Just as long as Tommy Stinson is still playing bass, because, you know, that's a little Minneapolis thing [Stinson was the bassist for the Replacements]. I got to see Guns N' Roses with Buckethead and Tommy Stinson. It was actually amazing. Everybody thought that the show wasn't going to happen, and then, 30 minutes late, Axl came out on stage and everybody went insane. They rocked.

Good catch. Thanks.  :peace: I already threw my EW away. Didn't look close enough, I guess.
