Title: Re: David Lynch's Eraserhead Post by: Bill 213 on July 10, 2006, 12:33:44 PM I think David Lynch should sue Kid from Kid N Play for stealing that haircut.
Title: Re: David Lynch's Eraserhead Post by: ppbebe on July 10, 2006, 06:44:52 PM Saw it on video along with other weird stuff like "who killed the bambi" "Salome" etc ?I was small that I only remember a girl in the 60s style singing a creepy song and the headless whole chickens dancing. It was mostly (?) in black and white.
And the pinheads? Title: Re: David Lynch's Eraserhead Post by: Gordi on July 11, 2006, 12:53:44 AM It's not terribly hard to find on DVD, I originally saw it one night on TV I was so freaked out, but I've been doing a whole lot of reading on it and there's a lot to this film.
The whole thing was in B/W. It was mostly (?) in black and white. You're talking about that girl in the radiator, man that was strange. I only remember a girl in the 60s style singing a creepy song Title: Re: David Lynch's Eraserhead Post by: ppbebe on July 11, 2006, 04:01:03 PM It's not terribly hard to find on DVD, I originally saw it one night on TV I was so freaked out, but I've been doing a whole lot of reading on it and there's a lot to this film. You're talking about that girl in the radiator, man that was strange. I'm not sure about the radiator but I think she suddenly appeared and disappeared. What was it? Or rather, What was this movie about? Within my memory it was like a collage of fantasies and nightmares. Interesting scenes. But was there a story? And Till I saw this thread, I've believed the pinhead people/tribe exist since I saw them on Eraserhead..... or maybe it wasn't this movie. Title: Re: David Lynch's Eraserhead Post by: BA on July 12, 2006, 04:49:10 AM lynch is the best and eraserhead is a great film as are all of his films.

Title: Re: David Lynch's Eraserhead Post by: Natasha on July 13, 2006, 03:35:31 AM I love his films very much.... thet are misrerious and beutiful but totally unpredictable and really strange... It' s a sort of
real art stuff and very strong, too. One of my favor is Mullholand Drive, anyway. Natasha Title: Re: David Lynch's Eraserhead Post by: Natasha on July 13, 2006, 03:36:26 AM sweet.its the best isnt it.bob was the only thing that used to scare me when i was younger.quality, quality!! did you like the film?fwwm? Yes, me, too! I understand you dude... Returning back To Mallholand Drive - I couldn't understand some of the stuff.. So that do you think abot this movie? Title: Re: David Lynch's Eraserhead Post by: Doc Emmett Brown on July 14, 2006, 12:44:43 AM I've been wanting to see Eraserhead...havent had a chance yet.
I liked Mulholland Drive too. After watching it, I wanted a cool blue box that would take me to an alternate reality too. The old couple who met Betty scared the hell outta me. Title: Re: David Lynch's Eraserhead Post by: Natasha on July 15, 2006, 05:29:33 AM I agreed with you .... And by the way, I couldn't understand the scene in the night club. This one is worry really me. It's beautiful singing, on the other hand, but on another, it's very scary..

Yes, me, too! I understand you dude... Returning back To Mallholand Drive - I couldn't understand some of the stuff.. So that do you think abot this movie? I love this movie. The main character (the blond) kills her lover, and much of the movie is her having flashbacks prior to the murder. Title: Re: David Lynch's Eraserhead Post by: Natasha on July 17, 2006, 04:04:41 AM Anyway, is is a cool movie, but hardly some body could explain that's the matter (maybe even David Lynch couldn't..)
I just think this one is beautiful, plus, it seems like a puzzle/mozaic. Title: Re: David Lynch's Eraserhead Post by: Gordi on July 18, 2006, 05:50:31 AM Very interesting movie, i think there are many layers to it. Some theories I've seen talk about the possibilty that this film is about fatherhood.
Personally I think it's about real life exaggerated to the extreme. Think about it...
