Does anyone here agree that we should make a petition stating that Axl shouldn't release Chinese Democracy until Bumblefoot re-does all of Buckethead's parts?  Then, after enough signatures...we send it to Axl. :hihi:

its not like bumblefoot could improve on them, and even if he could, he would make the improvement worth it.
the time he spends in the studio, someone has to pay, and the album's cost is high enough as it is.

So do you mean rerecord bucketheads parts with bumblefoot playing his melodies or delete bucketheads parts and have bumblefoot come up with his own melodies and put them in place of bucketheads melodies or have bumblefoot rerecord some of bucketheads melodies and have bumblefoot put his own spin on bucketheads melodies while at the same time trying to keep in essence bucketheads melodies in place but in actual fact it woudnt be buckethead it would be bumblefoot or just have bumblefoot create some new bucketfoot melodies of his own then we would all know that they were bumblehead melodies and not bucketfoots or if bumblehead put his foot in a bucket to recreate the melodies that fumblemoot had when mucketspread put his head on a record... on a foot... in a bucket... Leave Bucket's parts alone.  It's his recordings, we don't need someone else covering his music on the record.  How about releasing two Chinese Democracys one with Bucket and one with Bumble so no one can complain anymore.

BBF adding some parts seems plausible as Richard has done so.

But I'm with the genuine feeling that anything holding the release of CD up will be a bad thing, especially with what should be an extensive American tour on the way.

Lets just get on with the show. I think an 8 year wait is long enough don't you. Or a 15 year wait since we last heard original music.

and whilst i enjoy bumblefoot, i've waited a long time hoping to hear buckethead on chinese democracy.

Just a little trivia that I know is fact.  I have incredibly reliable resources.   If you go to www.bumblefoot.com and go to the tribute cds listed under "discogaraphy", you'll see The Lounge Below - an Outkast tribute CD.  Bumblefoot learned the Outkast songs, re-arranged them, sang and played every single instrument except drums, and produced that entire cd in less than one weeks time.  I think it was actually 4 days.  Not sure the details on why exactly it was done, nor why in that time space - but I don't know another person in the world capable of something like that.  Check out the mp3 sampler on that CD.

BBF is a cool guy, but BH is a better player and i was looking forward to his parts.realy sad he left

Absolutely not.  I don't feel like waiting around another 10 years.  Bumble can learn as he goes along just like Gilby Clarke did when he replaced Izzy.  The "new" tracks kick ass as they are, no need to mess with them too much.

I don't care if Jimi Hendrix were brought back from the dead, I still wouldn't want Buckets parts redone. Enough is enough. If Pittman is canned should Gn'R do an all out search for a replacement to re-record his parts too?

Perhaps it's not so much that Bumblefoot cant play Buckethead's parts, as it is more, Bumblefoot adding his own licks and touches to Bucket's parts, much like what Bucket did with Slash's parts.

If you play a FLAC of TWAT from May 12th back to back with the TWAT demo, Bumblefoot essentially nails Bucket's solo note for note, and trust me, I was at that show and saw him only a few feet away ;)

I need this FLAC of TWAT. :hihi: BBF's situation isn't the same. When it comes to rehash, it is. But when playing CD songs, he should be playing them how they are meant to be played.

I really dont think any of us will have a definate clue as to how they songs are supposed to be played, until we heal the final, polished versions of the album.

You think Bumblefoot's IRS solo sucks, but I dont essentially think it sucks, so much as it's been reworked or rewritten since Bucket left, because it sounds nothing like the demo version we've heard.. :hihi:

If BBF's IRS solo is the one on the finished album, then it dropped in quality. BH's solo redeemed the song.

I got a better idea! ?Why not a petition for Bumblefoot to give Axl a swift kick in the ass, so he'll finally release the damn album his fans have been waiting over a decade for???

Axl could in all honesty sell the leaks plus a few live versions of the '02 songs and it would sell a few million at this point...

What's got my curiousity are the songs Axl is yet to debut, or the "Big Guns" if you will...

Polished versions of the demos, plus a few Axl epics will be one hell of an album, there is no doubt...

Whether Bumblefoot's IRS solo be included or not... :hihi:
