Finally some movement at Slash's website.
It hadent been updated since january this year until now because of a fall out between the webmaster and Perla or something, but now they have updated it again! Some new information is that Slash recorded a song and video with Billy Idol, and that somebody is writting the story about Slash's life!!

Some interesting news from the site:

We asked SLASH what he was working on right now, and it's the new album. There will be about 12 songs on it, and it will not be a concept album. The title will be Libertas You may have already seen the VH1 program where he was on to talk about Kiss. He's also been working on a TV cartoon. And he says he's been approached by someone who wants to write the story of his life.

Not a concept album? Is this old news?

Duff (or was it Dave) said quite a few weeks ago that Scott (who said it was going to be a concept album) says alot of things, implying that Scott might have said it will be a cencept album to the media but it won't actually be.

Interesting, if there is going to be a biography of Slash it should be autobiographical, not written by someone else or a ghost writer.

Image if they made a movie about his life, now that's a movie I would want to watch, if it was honest about everythink he's done.

im confused.maybe VR are more of a mess than it seems, i mean they cant decide on a producer and they dont even know if its a concept album or not!!!!no1 knew who was in the band a few months back

Well I think the fact it isn't a concept album is good news, although I think it may have pretty much been decided due to the activity in the GN'R-camp as of late.

I'm guessing that Slash might be referring to the Rock Star Supernova show.

i knew about the cartoon pilot for a year now. My friend works for that Gabor Klasky guy at nickelodeon. He ios is assistant and he was in the meeting slash was in and he was interested in a pilot about slash. also my friend got to buy a marker for a guy on slash's entourage  :drool:

great news its being updated - like the sound of cartoon stuff - he's a pretty talented cartoonist, will be v interesting seeing him try his hand at other non-musical projects.   :peace:

That site kinda sucks these days... I used to follow it before Slash had his own site and VR and stuff.  It just looks terrible now and really needs a facelift of some sort. Not to mention for being a Slash site , it has some of the worst fucking tabs I have ever seen lol.

well its a fansite and the very 1st slash site so i'll always have a place for it in my heart : ok: but you're right its time for a facelift. Its a shame his official site is all nice and pretty but it sucks and is never updated. Snakepit.org was updated every monday wed friday for years

Yeah, mine as well, I continued to check it out every week from january until may this year even if there werent any updates from that period until recently..  :o) Waste of time, but it was my regular news and information site besides heretodaygonetohell ,,

They (or only Scott) planned to make a concept album, but that's an old story now. In the last 6 months they ruled out the idea in every interview.

Great to see snakepit finally updated.
And I hope this album arrives soon.

All we get is the one update on 6/30??  Slash asked her to get the website going again.  What's her deal?

This is all well and good but isn't this woman ever going to update it again? The last time was June, 30th. Surely something must be going on with Slash between then and now!

Maybe she have fallen out with Perla again??

Or Linda's having a holiday. Or Slash doesn't update her since VR seems to be a mess right now, let's check Matt's Rubin shit and the evergoing delay of the new album.

Why in the hell did she announce that Slash told her to get the site up and running again if she was going to make the first new post June 30th and not make another report since then?
