A song I normally don't love, Out Ta Get Me, is great live.  Hard to beat a WTTJ opener and Night Train's beautifully sick guitars!

My personal favorite at Hammerstein was There Was a Time though.  I liked Maddy this time around...but for some reason, Maddy sent chills down my spine in Boston, '02.  I got the same chills at Hammerstein with the closing line "I would do anything for you, there was a tiiiiiiiiime!"     oh god yes.  : ok:

Buckethead era- Nightrain
Foot era- Out Ta Get Me- This has nothing to do with Bumble, it is just the way Axl is singing on it.

I am really digging "Better" Live

However the energy of WTTJ as an opener is tough to beat in my book

I've gotta go with Paradise City.  That's gotta be one of the top performances EVER by any band as an encore.  Even though Rocket Queen is my favorite song.  I hope RQ makes some more frequent appearances on the setlist.

from the old songs i'd have to go with nightrain
from the new songs: madagascar, finally getting to hear that live was awesome
better, it sounds so full of energy live, the demo sounds kind of dull (don't know if that's the right word)

The Budapest one is incredible. Some of the notes he hits in it are amazing, and I love the way he improvizes it at every single concert making each version unique in a way.

Better blew me away in Dublin.

Intro to WTTJ is stunning, and love Nightrain.
From the UYI DVDs, gotta love Rocket Queen, its my fav GN'R song and would be gutted if I don't hear it live in Glasgow. Please Axl!!

i think out of the old songs rocket queen is the best. i love the new version of kohd too.
its hard to say out of all the new songs. i guess i might pick chinese democracy, i love the intro to it and the whole song. i also think that irs sounds a lot better live then the demo.
the whole tour has been great so far.

From RIR, best two sounding old songs KOHD and LALD, completely chosen by me due to voice, The Blues for new, however all were excellent,  that was my first festival and will say it was the absolute best sounding show I have ever attended, you could completely feel the music from within literally!!!!

These days it's Nightrain, LALD, You Could Be Mine, and The Blues.  Madagascar's really kicking ass these days with Axl's new vocal approach on it

Classic band or Nu-band? The old band was amazing, I can't name only a favourite live song.

The Nu-band's best live songs are My Michelle 2006 and Nightrain 2001-2002.
