Title: Re: What we know bout' "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" thread Post by: EFISH on June 26, 2006, 10:30:15 PM how do we know TWAT is on CD?
Better, Maddy, The Blues, IRS, Chinese Democracy will be on CD because ever since they have started being played live, they have been played just about every single show. Title: Re: What we know bout' "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" thread Post by: Steel_Angel on June 26, 2006, 10:32:52 PM how do we know TWAT is on CD? he mentioned twat, the blues, and better in the "rollingstones" article saying they were his fav so maybe they'll be on CD.Title: Re: What we know bout' "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" thread Post by: Better on June 26, 2006, 10:46:02 PM there will be three albums
as of January 13, 2006 "26 of 32 songs are nearly complete" Catcher in the Rye may or maynot be on the album Title: Re: What we know bout' "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" thread Post by: sic. on June 26, 2006, 10:48:48 PM Rhiad may be included in one of the albums. Ron has admitted to have rehearsed the track, even though they're yet to play it live on this tour.
At this point, it's likely that Buckethead is the only ex-member/studio musician featured on CD. Not Ryhad or Riyhad or Rhyiad ir any other numerous spellings that we've seen.
of course I'm assuming that the Setlist is legit :hihi: also this kinda sucks IMO since we know 7 of the 13 tracks :( We know that Richard is on the album cuz he layed down some tracks last year...also we know some producers and stuff that helped (check the htgth main page and click "the new album" tab : ok: Jarmo has done a great job of assembling all the info there  ) Title: Re: What we know bout' "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" thread Post by: cybercurves on June 27, 2006, 12:23:39 AM We know there will be no covers on the CD

But it's still not confirmed if Catcher will be on the first album or one of the follow-ups. Title: Re: What we know bout' "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" thread Post by: DunkinDave on June 27, 2006, 12:25:52 AM ...also the spelling is "Rhiad & the Bedouins". Not Ryhad or Riyhad or Rhyiad ir any other numerous spellings that we've seen. Riyadh is a place that was inhabited by Bedouins (travelling nomads) - check an encyclopedia. Title: Re: What we know bout' "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" thread Post by: killingvector on June 27, 2006, 12:30:50 AM On the Eddie Trunk show, Axl mentioned that two albums were almost done andPo that they were about halfway done with the third album. Title: Re: What we know bout' "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" thread Post by: ShotgunBlues1978 on June 27, 2006, 12:34:57 AM All of the songs we've heard to this point with the exception of Better were written and originally recorded in demo form from 1998-2000

Right, but the song is called "Rhiad". Just like "Nightrain", when the high class and very tasty wine it is named after is actually Night Train :hihi: Title: Re: What we know bout' "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" thread Post by: DunkinDave on June 27, 2006, 12:55:22 AM ...also the spelling is "Rhiad & the Bedouins". They could have won! Also, I hope that IRS gets reworked a lot and they had in the 3rd solo at least if it gets on album. That song just does not scream great album material to me. Title: Re: What we know bout' "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" thread Post by: Tomorrows on June 27, 2006, 03:02:25 AM We hardly know shit.
How do we know Bucket's parts will make the album? Sure its a logical assumption, but that doesnt mean anything when it comes to this band. Title: Re: What we know bout' "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" thread Post by: ClintroN on June 27, 2006, 04:34:02 AM i know its gonna give me a fat :o :o :o
Title: Re: What we know bout' "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" thread Post by: Wando on June 27, 2006, 05:12:36 AM Axl said back in '02 that The Blues, Madagascar, Rhiad.., Silkworms and CD won't be on the album (or even singles)
Not that it's new information, just pointing it out.. Title: Re: What we know bout' "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" thread Post by: kever20 on June 27, 2006, 05:27:21 AM Axl said back in '02 that The Blues, Madagascar, Rhiad.., Silkworms and CD won't be on the album (or even singles) Not that it's new information, just pointing it out.. Hmmm... I coulda sworn SOMEBODY said that none of those songs would be singles, but the only two tracks off that list that I'm fairly positive will not appear are Silkworms and Rhiyad. I think Dizzy said they were just testing them... Maybe not... Title: Re: What we know bout' "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" thread Post by: Gordi on June 27, 2006, 05:46:54 AM It would make sense to have Chinese Democracy on the album of the same name... So it's pretty safe to say it's on there.

So it's pretty safe to say it's on there. Then again Axl is a Hanoi Rocks fan, and Hanoi had an album "Two Steps From The Move" without the song of the same name. The song itself was released later on a collection... Nah, of course CD is on CD. Title: Re: What we know bout' "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" thread Post by: gnrkid03 on June 27, 2006, 02:18:07 PM Led Zep didn't put the song Houses of the Holy on the House of the Holy cd.
Title: Re: What we know bout' "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" thread Post by: Super-Ecwfan1 on June 27, 2006, 02:25:42 PM Axl has said I.R.S and Better are on the album. Rose may throw a curve and have only 2 to 3 of the downloaded tracks on the featured 1st album. Then for the next one do the other 2 or 3 downloaded tracks."Rhiad & the Bedouins" needs lots of work to it. The live version I have has a nice opening but needs work.
