Here Today... Gone To Hell!

Ok, so they don't fall in the same genre as GNR, but I really like this band and the new disc is pretty amazing (check it out for free, the entire CD, on MTV.com's The Leak).

Anyone else a fan?

i wanted to hate them but their music is pretty heartfelt, i like the single. im listening to the leak now.

Yeah, I know what you mean.  I just dig the guys voice and the emotion in almost every song.  Some of the lyrics are pretty good too.  From the leak, I really REALLY like tracks 2 and 7.   Their harmonies are pretty sick too.  Something about them seperates them from your run of the mill Emo band if you ask me - many have tried to follow in DC's footsteps but have tripped up pretty miserably instead.  The last album flirted with sounding like a rock album with some songs.

i listened to the leak, i like the record. i really just cant make up my mind. i would  like to buy it, i just dont know if it will have very good staying power. im not an emo fan really, i really only like like brand new and taking back sunday. i will make a decision soon i guess, maybe pick up the record tuesday or just wait a bit.

Brand New is pretty cool...again, I don't think they are your typical Emo band.  They just have a certain edge if you ask me.

cant be bothered with them. too many emo bands around nowadays, its a trend, one dashboard helped bring about as one of the first breakthrough emo bands.

so nah not for me.....isnt the dude from limp bizkit playing the bass on this album btw?

I personally think they are shit. I dont mind some music of the genre, but I hate them.
