Don't worry, we'll definitely organize a preshow party in Athens, probably on Sunday. I don't know if a meeting will work cause last time we tried to do that with VR only 5-6 people showed up, the rest were trying to get infront of the stage.

But keep on checking the site, we'll announce a preshow party until the end of this weekend...

i dont want to be a burden on you my flight arrives at Midnight on the 9th/10th June so itll be a bit late i was going to look for a cheap hotel close to the airport  :-\

what is known about Monday is any one else playing do we know start times and where is the place ive tried to get tickets but my Greek is very poor well actually its Zero i know nothing will i be able to pay at the gate and what problems am i going to have not being able to speak any other language other than English (and even that is very poor)

INCREDIBLE SHOW!!!

Axl was in the best mood i ever saw him, talking and smiling all the time, one of his best vocal performances, even better than dublin, something that i didnt think was possible. The band Ripped as always! the replacement drummer does a very good job, although he is not Brain. Robin was out of control! when ron did dont cry the audience was singing the whole song.. Better, Madagascar and The Blues were amazing.

IZZY joined the band for patience, nightrain and paradise city!!! i got goosebumps when Axl hugged him welcoming him on stage...everybody was chanting : Izzy-Izzy...

Axl and the band also did the first verse of light my fire by the doors.

when Axl was introducing the band he said "i still dont know who the fuck i am"

during kohd when Axl  saw Christos' sign "Greece loves GNR" Axl read it and said "its officiated now but i am going to put you to a test" with the singalong part of kohd.

The setlist was the same as in Dublin, but the concert had a completely different feel.Both were amazing.

the intro for the Blues was ziggy stardust and before that there was a jam that reminded me of "under my thumb"

The crowd was at least 16-17.000.

Axl was  making jokes all the time and at one point he said "i dont know if we're having fun or we're just retards"

in the end he thanked the audience many times during the final bows..he seemed very happy with the crowd's response and (i think) with the amount of the crowd (lets not forget that the show was announced only 2 weeks ago)

That must have been the most incredible night of my life!  :D  :D  :D

I was there with Christos, blueheart, anythingoes and some other members from the GNR greek fanclub.

The show was amazing, the sound was perfect, Axl's voice was flawless, I was standing front row just 3 metres away from Axl and I even got to touch Finck  :love:  when he stepped down the stage in front of the crowd! Woohoo!

Izzy on stage was a highlight, I got misty-eyed when he and Axl hugged. They both looked like having a great time!

I'll post a review as soon as I get some rest, I only had 2,5 hours of sleep after the gig and I was standing for 8 hours!
