Firstly I like everyone else was looking forward to GnR, got down the front early, missed prodigy to have a good spot on the barrier, was looking forward to this quite a bit thinking they would kick ass, anyway they come out fly into welcome to the jungle and for the next 3songs I was enjoying myself, then obviously the famous Axl moment of throwing a tantrum only 4 ****ing songs into the set anyway the point to this post is a few facts....Axl clearly cares so much about his fans as all you fanboys have been stating ?!?! ok... On Wednesday I spoke to a Security guy at the Tool gig at hammersmith who had been working download when GnR were on stage, when axl stormed off after around 15mins of the set he tried to leave the stage/venue/go home, he had a fight with his manager after being told he couldnt, - Security had to physically stop him leaving the stage, the keys to his helicopter were taken away to ensure he couldnt get to it. Also after Bumblefoot saved the day by entertaining the crowd with an impromptu guitar solo this later caused Axl to square up to him for **** knows what reason. What a complete an utter ****! Anyway **** anyone whos blind enough to think Axl gives a **** about his fans, if Id paid for my ticket solely to see GnR I would have been pissed off at the unproffessional attitude and performance by Axl. Props to his band who I thought all played well though, but at the end of the day it just felt like a pub covers band, and metallica had everyone in the palm of their hands the night before with a great set, not so much can be said for the frontman with the most arrogant persona around. Blah I needed to rant to let you know of those wonderful little details you may/may not have known about and speculate all you will because I know their true :) Enjoy. GnR are dead and buried! Pub cover band, what the fuck is this guy smoking, this is guns n roses, that's what the ticket said
