kitty and the kowalskis - chinese democracy, has had a ton of good reviews and is sellin well for an indie punk band

I wrote a short review on Amazon for this one.  Funny thing is since then some dope responded to it by claiming Treeport wasn't trying to emulate anyone.  I guess he/she missed the entire point of my review and thought I meant that this band was some kind of tribute to GN'R rather than them using something totally GN'R-related to get people's attention.

The UYI3 thing is very uncool i recon...I mean like naming something CD is also lame but at least axl never put it out, but he did put out UYI records...so i mean its like if i make Jaws54 with a shark on the front cover of the video then claim theres no connection.

A suggestion..

put a chuck norris 'joke' in your signature and change it when you please. that way people can still enjoy your jokes and it will be there every time you post.. but wont be in the actual post.

i mean, when you respond to a post with one word.. "losers" and then write a long  3 sentence chuck norris thing, well i just dont seee how it fits here.

They're just dumb and useless. I've seen other threads where you've been warned several times by the guy who owns/runs this board to knock it off. Can't you just respect his wishes at least and quit with it before he just bans you??

I saw treeport in concert.  Their music sucks and their show consists of lighting their nuts on fire.

If it's parody its funny, and I don't see any problem with it. If it's a band attempting to confuse people into thinking it has something to do with GN'R it's a problem. Both of these seem like goofballs, which is what offspring is too, it's a joke. I can laugh at GN'R too, its a rock band, not life and death.

and the chuck norris thing, well its really funny right now... ;D...it's like the conan o'brien bit playin the clips...so keep it up  :peace:

The Chuck Norris thing got old ages ago. It's a stupid lame internet thing that has been around forever.

And how come these 2 bands got away with it when the Offspring got a load of attention for planning to call their album Chinese Democracy?

Because they are absolutly nothing when Offspring on the other hand is a jack-off band like Bach said it  ;D
