Title: Coverting VHS to DVD good old stuff! Post by: meanmachine73 on June 19, 2006, 09:40:39 AM Does anyone know or recommend a good trader I could send some old VHS tapes too in order for them to be transfered to DVD?
Of course I/WE will then be able to share amongst the community..... ;D I have some low generation concerts dating from around 87/88 Felt Forum, Perkins Pacedena to name a couple plus a very good copy of a German show during the Illusion tour... I also have countless tapes from interviews, tv specials etc... etc.... All of which maybe of interest to collectors... Let me know, Cheers......... Title: Re: Coverting VHS to DVD good old stuff! Post by: Tomorrows on June 19, 2006, 10:05:50 AM Where abouts in the world are you?

Title: Re: Coverting VHS to DVD good old stuff! Post by: Duffsangel on June 19, 2006, 04:13:52 PM Me too. I've got uploader status at Dime.
But for the Uk I could dust off my old double decker video and run some copies if push comes to shove. Title: Re: Coverting VHS to DVD good old stuff! Post by: meanmachine73 on June 20, 2006, 02:20:45 AM Sorry, I should clarify something, I have received alot of PM's from people looking to make the conversion(s), however I am not looking to pay for this.. I saw it simply as a way of letting other fans share some of my shit rather than keep it to myself.. It could then be shared all around the world at NO cost to anyone!!
I just need someone to take receipt of my Videos (pal) from the UK and transfer to DVD. That person as you can appreciate should also be recommended by other people within this forum... I am not just going to send my collection to someone with a chance I don't get it back.. Thanks, and ''keep em under your wheels'' Title: Re: Coverting VHS to DVD good old stuff! Post by: Tomorrows on June 20, 2006, 02:37:46 AM You know a lot of video/electrical stores do offer pretty cheap VHS 2 DVD transfer. That way theres no risk of someone stealing them.
Title: Re: Coverting VHS to DVD good old stuff! Post by: meanmachine73 on June 20, 2006, 03:39:41 AM You are right, and that is probably the best way to go... The only problem was that I would still need someone to upload the DVD's to torrents etc... I am a lamer as far as that stuff is concerned.
