It's Alright is a Black Sabbath song, from the album Technical Ecstacy.  Bill Ward (Sabs drummer) sang lead vocals on the track.

As for the question at hand, My favorite GNR cover is most definately: Aint it Fun.

Gn'R almost always covered songs great.. It would be really hard to pick a favorite..

I know I didn't really care for the studio version of KOHD or Sympathy for the Devil...

hollywood rose had axl and izzy in the band which went on to be guns n roses, so no doesnt realy count!!!

its like can you count its so easy a cover by VR when 2 out of 5 people wrote the song??

I think the reason it was slated so much is because people really wanted new material from Guns N Roses. I mean lets face it, if Axl released an album full of cover songs tomorrow, whilst everybody would be delighted with the fact that he has released something, a lot of people would be pissed that it was only cover songs. But, for the record, I love the album too, although it is my least favourite GnR album, but only because it is not origional material, I still love the way they make the songs their own, and they make them sound like GnR songs, if you know what I mean.
And also, if Axl released a cover album tomorrow, I would think that was a good thing, and a sign of things to come, but I feel that outside of this board, I would be in a minority lol.

My favourite GnR cover from TSI is probably Aint It Fun, but overall my fave cover is KOHD, especially live.

their most sucessful cower would probaby be knockin' on heavens door.lots of people think its gnr song, not bob dylans'
my favourite would be ain't it fun and down on the farm.live-dead flowers and dust in the wind too.beautiful
I was never fan of their Mama Kin.don't know why,but never liked that song much.  ;D
why so many people dont want KOHD in setlist ? Just because its cover ? I think its GREAT song to play live..... ''I sing one....you sing one....''
studio version is not half as good as live...

I can't believe no one has said Ain't it Fun yet. One of my favorite GN'R songs regardless of it being original or a cover, it is my favorite cover ever.

Live And Let Die and Ain't It Fun are my favorites.  Live And Let Die is consistently one of the best live songs that GnR plays.  I am also partial to "I Don't Care About You", that song is hilarious and just entertaining, Duff's vocals fit the dumb, funny nature of the song and I love when Axl turns up to deliver some full on scream "fuck you's"  :smoking:

Sympathy for the Devil is probably my favorite gnr cover, I also really liked their rendition of Jumpin' Jack Flash, and my favorite SI track is Down on the Farm :smoking:.

It's Axl all the way from start to finish. I don't think Duff was even in the background vocals group for this song.

Really?  I have to check the credits again.  I know Duff did lead vocals on New Rose, Attitude and Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory which he butchered.  I thought he did "I Don't Care About You" too but I could well be wrong, I haven't looked at the TSI credits in quite some time

 :P

After checking the TSI liner notes, you are 100% correct.  And all these years I'd thought it was Duff on the lead vocals for that song  :P

Crazy how much Axl can alter his voice, the vocals on that song always sounded like a rougher version of Duff's voice on Attitude and New Rose than any of the Axl songs on TSI, couldn't tell at all.  Even on Ain't It Fun you can still tell it's him and Monroe due to some subtle things on his vocals
