Post by: Bumblefeet on June 17, 2006, 06:54:56 PM i sent off to the address on appetite the other but i dont think they will reply!!! i would like to know if anybody sent a letter asking for "information and parafa..wot ya call it"!!! please just tell me if you got anything!!!!

it was right around when magazines like hit parader were starting to do stories about the upcoming new album (which of course ended up being UYI) and the possible new song titles, etc i had just bought the "everybody's ass is up for grabs" live bootleg and naively suggested in my letter that the band include "shadow of your love" and "don't cry" on the next album... i was so into those tunes because they were the only "new" songs from the bootleg (not realizing at the time that shadow was already a b-side) in my head, i imagined the band sitting around reading and responding to the fan mail, and i anxiously waited for a response...haha about 7 months later i got a mini-catalog of gnr merchandise in the mail wow that brings me back... it's funny because now, almost 20 years later, i am once again super psyched about gnr and the mysterious new album, just like those years in between AFD and UYI... too bad my old acid-washed jean jacket with the AFD backpatch doesn't still fit!!!
