Looks like you aren't seeding this yet, though...you may need to check and see that the .torrent file you downloaded from Dime is pointing at your Hammersmith folder.  Right now, the torrent is not visable to other Dime users.

Quality is pretty good and if someone wants to put it on megaupload then they can, as long as they dont convert to mp3 etc.

this 'do not convert to lossy formats' always makes me laugh. Audiences recordings are, by definition, not of the same standard as official releases, so any loss is irrelevant and unnoticable to the majority of listeners.

Hell yeah - thats why we listen to recordings made by someone with a Minidisc recorder. GYAFC, almost every audience recording is fairly shit quality compressed crap audio garbage to start with!

What's the sound quality like on this???

Sound's great on it, though partially masked by the loudness of the crowd- it's a small venue, and it really comes across! It's a great thing to me, as it really captures the atmosphere, but you may not like that. I can do you a trade if you like, since I've got virtually nothing, but you probably shouldn't need to trade for this.

having the crowd scream over Axl isnt really my favorite kind of bootleg..makes me crazy...why is it these people feel the need to sing as axl is singing....plus i already got reamed for aksing for this on rapidshare or megaupload...us common folk who dont have dime just arent good enough

They sing with Axl because they paid money to go to a concert and enjoy it, not for someone else's pleasure. THe people who do otherwise are called bootleggers.

Mike the problem of having it on rapidshare etc was NEVER an issue.  The issue was that you asked it to be changed to mp3 which means quality loss, something that I (and a shitload of other bootleg fans) never want to see happen.  The fact is i avent got the time to upload every track to rapidshare but if someone else has and can keep it in its current form then great......by all means do it.

Oh they're not screaming over Axl- that's what was so impressive about the gig. As bloody loud as we were, we never overpowered Axl- so there's a great sense of atmosphere.

Thanks from me also for seeding this!  The night has already become a bit of a blur so this will bring it flooding back.  I'm also having Dime registration issues - would anyone mind seeding this to mininova or torrent spy (as with the Hammerstein DVDs)?  You'll earn your place in G n' R heaven, I promise  :P

Well i personally think its quite good but I'd be a bit biased now.... ;D

its listenable.....not as good as budapest but better than some of these horrid shows liek donington and prague.....the crowd is louder than axl a lot of the time which gets annoying

Well that is what a bootleg is like...the crowd is always gonna be quite loud unless its a soundboard
