Post by: ClintroN on June 10, 2006, 06:51:41 PM
when me n' my ex of 5 years used to have our arguments, i would start singin' You Aint The First :hihi:  n' she f'kn hated it 'cause she knew dame well what it ment :hihi: :hihi:

but when it fell apart the one song that got me through it all (and still does) is Locomotive
those words couldnt be more true, n' they just plain kick arse, the best i've ever read!!
'sweetness is a vertue but you lost your vertue long ago, you know id like to hurt you but my concience always tells me no''
'i tried to keep thing together but the tremore torn my pad aprt, yeah i know its hard to face when all we workd fors gone to waist'.............................ah fuck it, the WHOLE thing is unreal!!! :crying: :smoking: :smoking:

if anyone here goes through a hard core break up, just listen n' read the words, if i could id have the whole song tattood on me :hihi:     but i will be gettin'....'if love is blind i guess ill buy myself a cain' : ok: : ok:

what song got you through the shit?????????????

I broke up just last week.

Fave songs?
Better, TWAT, The Blues, November Rain, Estranged, etc etc.

But best of all, Butch Walker. Everyone should listen to his music  : ok:

There'll be people to tell you this better suits the dead horse section. Not me. GNR songs like Estranged, The Blues keep the wound open and go deeper than i can handle sometimes  :nervous:

In 92' it was definetly Estranged...that song helped so much..funny how it works that way.

I think the lyrics to Locomotive applied to me perfectly, almost dead on, word for word.....but when I get the pissed off stage, it's Back off Bitch all the way.....

I remember going through tough times and hearing November Rain or Estanged.....those don't work, they'd just make me more sad.

You said bloody everything!! That's exactly how I feel.

Then I just start singing "I'm a sexual inuendo, in this burn out paradise"  :hihi: or "I can't turn on anyone, just like I've turned on you", and it occasionally makes me feel better  : ok:

right next door to hell helped me out when i beat the shit out of someone who was trying to get with my girl  in high school.........funny that you mention this because Mike Patton did an interview with JJJ in 1993 where he was making fun of Axl because Axl once told Patton that the Faith No More song 'Midlife Crisis' helped him 'get him through some rough shit'...........If you know the way Patton writes lyrics it is basically just whatever comes to his head and fictional stoires unlike Axl who bares his soul, so you could imagaine the laughs Patton had when Axl told him one of his songs helped him out......
