VELVET REVOLVER To Play California's MID-STATE FAIR According to SanLuisObispo.com, VELVET REVOLVER will join the lineup at the Mid-State Fair in San Luis Obispo, California on July 30, officials there announced Friday. Tickets to see the group, which consists of former members of GUNS N' ROSES and STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, will go on sale Thursday, June 15 at 10 a.m. Prices are $43, $35 and $25. VELVET REVOLVER recently recorded a new song for the upcoming animated feature, "Monster House". They get a lot of pretty big name acts there. It's not like they are playing a little county fair where the entertaiment is has beens!
