Title: Whats Next? "Sweet Child O' Mine or Better"?? C'mon now...
Post by: da_pope on June 09, 2006, 01:27:01 AM
I think you guys are a little high on Axl love right now.
Comparing the songs that put Axl on the map, made him into a someone to these new songs?

I mean c'mon.
Sure some these new songs kick ass, some of these new songs suck ass but none of them are in the leauge of the Hits.

Well, to quote your sig:
Quote
Funny how there's more GN'R in Velvet Revolver then there is in Guns N' Roses.

Then why can't VR make 'the hits' either?

I kinda agree with this, I wouldn't go as far saying that the new songs suck 'cause they are still better than 90% of what's out there today, But I do think some of the songs are mediocre at best.

the good songs are really good but saying they're better then the old hits it's a little far fetched. we don't even know how the album version sounds.
on the other hand some people might like the new songs more because people have different tastes and not everybody thinks the old albums are the gretest

Also people will like the old songs better, simply because they're classics.

"Well that's just, like, your opinion, man..."

I like Catcher in the Rye just as much as SCOM - They're tied as my favorite GNR songs.

"better" and "irs" are better than say "anthing goes", "you're crazy", and "think about you"...probably about the same as "out ta get me." "twat" and "citr" are better than a lot of the illusion stuff. but i gotta say the "sweet child" of cd is prolly yet to come
