Title: Re: Josh Freese? Post by: RichardNixon on June 07, 2006, 02:21:53 AM Two people that can claim to have been members of both GN'R and NIN:
Freese and Finck. Title: Re: Josh Freese? Post by: Poof! on June 07, 2006, 02:39:12 AM Didn't Brain once state in an interview a couple of years back that some of Josh's playing would still be on the record? Although that could've changed since then, but I think he did mention that. Personally, I'd really like to hear Josh on the record.

Billy Howerdel too btw brain said that all the songs that will be in CD... he will play them, that doesnt close the door if freese wrote a riff or arranged something that might be on the songs... Buckethead's parts will have been re-recorded or re-written by Bumblefoot depending on whether hes in the band and whether he is a permanent member or just a touring member. Title: Re: Josh Freese? Post by: Gargh! on June 07, 2006, 12:07:20 PM Was Freese ever going to be a bona fide member or just a session musician? I know that Guns obviously didn't tour whilst he was in the band, but were there plans to get a different player in when they eventually did hit the road? Also, was he fired or did he leave of his own accord?

Chris Vrenna was in GNR as well....Not as long as them though so yeah.. I read that Chris was supposed to be their official drummer but turned it down because..yeah like everyone else..too much time to wait Damn...I wish Chris joined GNR..but anyway. |
