In Russia, South Korea, India, Iran, Turkey, China, or South Africa? Cause it would be real cool if they did a show in one of these locations that they never played before. Kind of how Soundgarden played Cuba.

We can strike China off that list for a few years I think.

Although they would probably attract a lot of mistaken interest (and condemnation) if they toured there to promote Chinese Democracy.

GNR is most well known Rock N Roll legendary band in my country(indonesia).every people here from all ages knows guns,if they did a show in here that would be great.Metallica did a Show here in 1993(and cause a Riot :hihi:).That was the biggest show ever.Imagine if that was Guns.

I've recently chated with a guy from New Delhi....you know, on those chat rooms on yahoo mess....and, though he didnt seem stupid he had NEVER heard of GNR. I had like an avatar with Axl and Slash rocking and the guy asked me, politely, "who's in the picture?". I guess he'd been living under a rock for the past....i dunno... :smoking:

They played Turkey in '93 - my brother-in-law was at the show.

GN'R were supposed to play in Russia years and years and years ago.? But the band decided against playing there due to the political climate.

i highly doubt the iranian regime will allow a US band to play there. the people would love it though

In Russian, S Korea, India, Turkey, China and South Africa, they have fan bases.  Iran I have no idea about.  I have been to all those countries except for Iran.

Why did you choose these countries?

I've heard that a school girl in South Africa killed her own mother and claimed that the song used to love her inspired her. :-\

I think GNR is well known among rock fans of those countries.
But do we know any band from those countries?

I remember like a year ago GNR released a book or something about GNR to Iran.

I'm from URUGUAY, and well here is very known... but well... they would never play here

in argentina and brasil yeah, but in the middle... there.... taht little country... URUGUAY they won't play  :rant:

Uruguay is smaller then almost every brazilian state, how can you expect a gn'r concert in such a small country? hehehe

It all depends on the promoters.  It's all very well Axl saying "You know what, Tommy, I kinda want to play in Butan," but without the local promoters deciding it is worth it finacnially, it won't happen.

Well you know that goes for many people around the world doesn't matter where they are from.. Like couple days back was talking with my friends mother and she just was like Guns N' Roses?? Never heard of them and you can just imagine the expression on my face  :o  :hihi:
