They are POPstars, which is different. The media has changed a lot the concept of "Rock star". They think that anyone who can sing and is famous worldwide is a rock star. Caring about the collective grouping, the opinion, the definition and, I guess, the outlook towards, one set of people, be them "pop" stars or what not, is a submission, or a declaration, of actual interest in, and consideration towards, the definition, the opinion or the general outlook towards any other given set of people: rock stars! As such, if you show enough interest that you care about their categorization then surely you care enough about their opinion and how they are received by other. In essence you are showing care for what they, "others", think and, well... That ain't rock n' roll. I love rock n' roll. As did Britney. Britney for best new rock star!
