This is kind of off topic but it would be amazing for a bootleg cd to emerge of just Axl and the piano playing demos of the songs from CD. I have a bootleg of John Lennon doing just that and it's amazing. Even Axl and just an acoustic guitar would be cool.

Huge potential, could really be one of the best songs in the world. I just hope it to be on CD :nervous: Guess we'll know soon.. I don't have an ear for the piano, but I was really impressed by the guitar. It reminded me of Brian May right away and it seems that he was involved in the creation of this song :D

Post by: whiny on February 18, 2008, 12:36:13 PM axl is a fine piano player when it comes to writing songs, playing them live or recording them in the studio. he seems quite limited as far as technique and style goes, but the way he uses his skills is perfect for gnr (no use pretending to be joe zawinul); his improvisation during the live jams (eg. the psychedelic one) was, hm, well: bad. i'm also interested who plays on songs like blues or catcher in the studio; pretty similar to uyi i guess, where dizzy and axl both can be heard.
