Title: Magazine - Monsters of Rock
Post by: codenameninja on May 30, 2006, 10:49:48 AM
There's a magazine out now called Monsters of Rock, it charts the history of Castle Donington. What is interesting, Guns n'Roses get a mention for the year 1988 and there is no photo's of Axl. Weird. On another page there is a photo i have never seen before, it shows Slash on a mountain bike with Steven Adler standing there. Never have i seen a photo of Slash that looks so much not like Slash. The hair and the tattoo give it away.

No i did not buy the magazine, but maybe someone else here did and could post a scan up of the image.

Here's to seeing Gn'R at this years Castle Donington

Yeah, Robin thinks Axls image no longer fits in, so they sacked him. Scot Weiland is rumoured to be the new singer.  :hihi:

There's an explanation for Axl not being in the pics, maybe there photographer didn't take any, maybe the editor didn't select any, and on the day of the first Ireland gig, Axl didn't travel to the site untill the very last (and too late) moment by helicopter. If the picture's where taken early, it would explain why he is not on them.
